Great game! It's just that once you fill the cost line with artilery you don't really have to do anything.

It’s true, the balance could use some work. Thanks for playing!

Really funny idea, it reminds me of the 00's zany web game.

I didn't realize the storms only spawned out in the ocean at first and messed up all my placements but I suppose that makes sense! Second time went smoother haha.

I like the idea! You get to make an interesting choice - buy a one-time nuke or a permanent turret. Turrets seemed pretty weak, which was probably intentional. It's very difficult though, couldn't beat Wave 2.

Interesting to hear that, several others commented that it was too easy!

Thanks for playing, and for your feedback!

really liked this take on a tower defence game. The core mechanic is very solid and hat a lot of fun managing economy between one-use nukes and long term turrets, makes it more challenging in a fun way! I could totally see this be something big post jam

Glad you enjoyed it :) thanks for playing!

First time I didn't notice the start wave button and nuked myself hahah. Nice concept, could be totally continued to a bigger game!

Really cool concept. I love the tongue in cheek tone of America trying to launch missiles at hurricanes. The gameplay was simple but still really fun . Would love to see some more interesting and unique turret types, and maybe a bit more variety in the enemy weather patterns. Really great work overall, especially for 1 week!

Pretty interesting tower-defense-like. My two complaints are:

  • There's no descriptions for the units, so you have to buy them to figure out what they do
  • There's no way to cancel a nuke launch
Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! To your points, there are (or should be) tooltips that appear when you hover over the units. Also, you can hit escape (might not work on web version) or right-click to cancel a nuke launch (undocumented in game, I know).

Fun game! Reminds me a lot of some of the random flash games that would get popular in the past :D

Nice game! I really liked the combination of simple art and music.

From a game design perspective, the game stopped being a challenge for me after the second wave: I won by simply building up the coastline with guns. There was almost no need for other types of weapons.

The ending is funny. Thanks!
