Hilarious dark humor! loved the twist on the crossy road concept. Also the graphics were very nice, specially enjoyed the cars crashing!

Hilarious concept! Took me a while to not have so many exploding family members on my dinner hahah

(2 edits)

Super fitting with the theme and the mechanics felt classic yet very innovative, loved using the flashlight, as a good classic horror game! The game was very well crafted, easy to grasp and yet challenging, everything felt like it belonged! Just sad I peed my pants so many times hahah

Well done on submitting your game! The staging phase is done, so you just have to polish the mechanics! I hope you continue building on it, since you arleady have a good starting base for the game!

Damn, being human is so difficult! Super fun concept, and perfectly implemented, took me a whole date round to realise about the eyes mechanics, at first didn´t understood why my date didn't like me hahha. Great work!

Really fun concept, the humoristic tone resonated with me :D

I liked the mix of the 3D environment and the pixel art characters. Visual and auditive feedback would totally pump up the game! Also would appreciate some transitions, since I sent the first employee right through the door because of the abprut change in scene

If Remmy ended up in NYC instead of Paris heheh. Nice graphics and creative concept! good work!

Just wow! Fleshed out game, and the story fitted perfectly on the theme, in a very poetic way.  Its amazing all you managed to make, all the weather effects and even a day cycle! Really amazing guys.

I wish when you die there was a more developed scene / transition, but also liked the additional diary entry. Everything was very detailled, and would love to see a full game from you guys!

Super cute art, and the bee army concept is very creative! I hope you can finish it to see the final version of your idea!

Bravo! Felt very polished, the in-game instructions were perfect, and the visual style was in a sweet spot of simple and retro! The mechanics were straight forward, and as the enemies were really aggressive, many levels were very challenging for me!

At first it remineded me of Sonic, but loved the unique take on the mechanics! You made an awesome use of the assets packs, the game was greatly put togheter and looked very much polished!

Amazing concept, I think the playing with the numpad has much potential! Also the graphics were very nice! I whis you cna build more upon this concept, would really love to play a fleshed out version of the game!

It took me a whole round to understand I had to upgrade the houses and not only click like crazy hahah

Very nice art and fitting music!

The art was super nice, congrats! The idea was also very innovative, I only wished we had a cutscene at the end with the actual locust storm, just for the fun of it heheh.

Congrats, good job!

I hope you keep building on this! The concept is really cool and the graphics are very good, really liked the alien's designs!

The graphics are really nice, fitting for the vibe and charming! I think if you continue building upon this and add more SFX it can elevate the game! The red overlay on being low health was a bit too much, but it was nice to have that indicator

Very nice game! The tutorial at the beggining was very well put together, I didn't have trouble understanding the game. I thinks It can be improved upong with different level designs, since I unded up putting everything on the center to have more reaction time heheh

I only felt the movement was a bit off, maybe too sensitive?  But overall you guys did an awesome job!

Really lovely graphics! So much detail on everything, awesome job!

The only thing that putt me off was the main character speed, it felt too slow, and wished I could upgraded it. At the end I had a hugemungous wave of enemies following me, was actually hilarius

Nice! Enjoyed the difficulty scale, didn't expected the gunned enemies!  Had to defend my cannons too!

The art was simple but very fitting, really liked the assets you made! I think the cannons could bennefit from more SFX and some visuals, so you can actually "feel" what they are doing

Good job on doing everything yourself! Very realistic to run for money haha

You did an amazing job! There was a hole lot  create this, got all the Overcooked vibes! (with a sad end, since I was a really bad chef hahah)

Really nice concept, the idea of pirates being pushed with a water hose made me chuckle every time :D

The mechanics worked flawlesley! (IMO a big achievement on a game jam) and I felt each round had a really good increase in difficulty balanced very well with the upgrades. Maybe the water hose "feel" could be improved, but overall excelent job, very well rounded game!

Theank you very much for playing and for the feedback! Yes, the diguise mechanic was implemented but sadly didn't have time to flesh it in the game itself, the idea is to have visually distinct disguises that actually affect the game mechanics!

Will take your comments into considerations, thanks again!

Thanks so much! Yes, I'm working on finish it and complete the mechanics we intended, so I can update it after the jam rating is over :D

Instant classic! With just the rock mechanic you added so much gameplay variability! And you can build so many mechanics over this, other type of items, "good" elements inside the storm, maybe a damage counter with hearts or a life bar (for the not so skilled people like me hahah).

Also you can improve it with a bit more of a visual feedback for the player, but there is a really good foundation! Great work! PS: the change to rock music never got old :D !

This looks so beautiful! Really awesome you guys made it all!

Please update the web version if you manage to fix it, since I don't hace a windows PC at reach I can't play it properly :C

I like the concept! The art and the music are on point for the gnomey vibe, kudos on the art, many assets for a short time!  :D

I could finish, and the storm did show up fine! Sadly only 2 of my buildings survived hahah. Maybe a timer could be a good visual clue (besides the ominous SFX) for when the storm will arrive and how much time is left

As someone else mentioned, I didn't seem to be able to do the Stone upgrades, but overall, good job!

Very innovative design! The graphics are simplistic but very effective, and it's really impressive you managed to make 3 separate phases!

The ending sound effect was hilarious but a tad too long, for someone bad dad lost too often like me hahaha.

Overall very well executed, congrats!

I loved the retro vibe, the music and graphics were on point. The concept was really good, and I liked the details you put in!

The calm part was a bit too fast for me, and since we had the jump to storm button maybe it can be a bit longer by default :)  Also, the boat's actions may be a bit too slow (moving and shooting). Just some fine tuning needed since it's already a very fun game :D

I really liked the concept, and felt a very Stardew Valley chill vibe :)

As some suggested, maybe it was a too large scoped game for the time, but I really appreciated all the effort put into the asets and the concept!

Ver challenging due to the small height of the jump! From the music, and the pacing everything worked really well together! Great job :)

Cute experience, didn't knew the platform, looks really fun to implement. Well done!

Awesome game! Loved the retro vibe, reminded me of good old Metal Gear.  It was super fun, thanks guys!

Very fun, even though it was too difficult for me hahah. I think you can play with the mate concept on the graphics, so you can see it spilling while you go.

Really liked this! The different mechanics were fun, I think it lends for many future combinations. Loved the player character, though being a mini space ship maybe the hover movement should be its default. The final bit was challenging at least for me, so it felt rewarding to finish!

Sure, i'm ginzu19 on discord

I felt in love with your art, its sooo beautiful! This was a really sweet and nostalgic experience.

I read that you want to continue working on this. I'm a programmer, if you want I would love to work with you on this or some other projects :)

On my first day I only managed to  understand what to do and sent one report. By the 4th day I was a government machine and completed all my documents hahah. Excelent concept, could be to totally build upon with more mechanics. The art was  also super nice and fitting. Thanks for the game, I hope you continue working on it :D

Such a sweet concept! Love the art and music, please keep updating this!! Since we can't remove the blocks I think the storm would be perfect to refresh or buildings heheh.

Thanks for the game! <3

Amaaazing artsyle choice, who knew stick people on paper would look so good on a 3D game, liked it a lot!! Just wished there was a small scene at the end with all my friends heheh. But otherwise, superb job!!

PS: the mango was difficult to pick up ^^U
