How does your game fit the theme?
"Calm before the storm" refers to the period of peace that precedes a period of hectic activity. The two phases of this game mimic that duality, with the maze-editing phase being slow and thoughtful and the maze-sprinting phase requiring the player be as fast as possible.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes.

I think this was a really neat idea. It took me a second to figure out what I needed to do but afterwards I had a lot of fun organizing the maze and trying to minimize my score

I had a lot of fun trying to optimize my sprint time for the 5x5 maze! Given the amount of time to finish, this is a great project!

The game is pretty unique. Every change in the maze costs you points, so the best tactic is just to press reset until you have a maze that already connects each tile.

I really like the idea, but the game is too random for my taste, you dont really improve your skills to get a lower score, it feels a bit too random.

A really unique idea! haven't seen anything like this so far.

Very simple game, super well executed. I enjoyed it. I thought the score was based on how connected the maze is, but I saw you can keep increasing the score by flipping the same tile back and forth. Which was a little sad. But besides that, very well done. I even solved a 10x10 grid
