How does your game fit the theme?
The player must guess the word to avoid the storm coming. I also used asset represent storm and lightning.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote code by myself and asset download from Unity Asset Store for free.

Pretty polished, but neither is this an innovative idea (it's just hangman basically), nor does it really fit the theme, despite the "idiom" explanation.

"Calm before the storm" is idiom. At the beginning when you trying guess a word it is quiet and peaceful. When you start losing chances it is less quiet and more difficulty.
Yes, I understand that phrase is idiom, but still I don't feel a connection to the theme. Maybe you should put more dramatic audiovisual experience to that game, because even if I lose some chances I still felt calm, and don't get me wrong, this is just suggestion how to improve, game is good overall
