Its about sailing calm Caribbean Seas and finding a safe port before the storms come in.

Controls are difficult, I think it needs some tuning, but the game is really fun! Also, game art is nice!

Really cool concept. So difficult to control a ship! I guess this game is realistic haha Nice job!

Nice Game. But controls need improvements.

I had trouble at first figuring out how to actually steer the ship but once I did it clicked. This was a really cool experience and I love how you interpreted sailing. This was a lot of fun, thank you

The controls are quite fun as a little minigame to try to navigate your ship through the storm. It was tricky to navigate and I struggled for a bit to understand what I was supposed to be aiming at, but once I saw the dock it clicked. Great work!

Wow this was a neat and unique experience

The ship movement took me a while to get a grasp on but once i stopped thinking about it like a car i got it. the graphics and sound fit well and i think this is a really good use of the theme. good job!

Keep making games

This was good fun.

  • Liked the concept of detailed steering mechanics: dependence on wind direction, difficulty of getting out of a steer, etc.
  • Found it difficult to achieve a good steering in practice, but got better after a couple of attempts and shipwrecks.
  • Learnt how to turn slowly by paying attention to the red bands, control ship speed by raising the sail, then lowering again.
  • In the third attempt I got better. It was good fun outrunning a couple of storms, and finding a dock without losing any HP.
  • Felt great to finish the game!

It takes some learning to become a good sailor, but was worth it :) Well done!

Really nice graphics & music, finding the safe port was quite challenging which made it fun.

Very cool concept! I think there's a core of an excellent game design here. I personally found it a bit too challenging. I tried it out 3 or 4 rounds and could not find the safe port. But I can see that others would really like this challenge.

The art/music/controls are very cohesive. Great job!

Please rate Hurricane Watch if you get a few minutes to play it!

I coudn't find the safe place, but it was a fun experience in attempts to find it. Good luck!

I really loved the feel-good music in the intro, and I was pleasantly surprised by the controls—I truly enjoyed the sailing experience!

And just for fun, I now have proof: I reached the edge of our flat planet! 😁🌞
