thanks lemonator,

that comment about ranges is a great idea that i will add in future updates

Thank you for the follow and the support, plan on releasing an update ASAP

Keep being a real one!

i like the idea fs

Some more ui would have been nice, i didnt rly know what i was collecting coal for originally either

ducks were very funny

Keep up the great work

loved this idea.

Really cool idea with a fantastic style, also quite relevant with alll the fires going on in the world right now

I found it a little confusing at first, both with the ackward control scheme, and the kinda ambiguous instructions.

All in all, great game!

keep making games

(1 edit)

This sure is impressive!

First off, great story, the most intense one I've seen in a game jam game

Second, the art is absolutely beautiful, truly stunning what you have done here

My suggestion ffr is to increase the speed of the game in general, i get its a boat simulator, but its also a game, and i don't have all day!

All in all, fantastic work!

Keep making games!

Wow, this is a really cute tower defense game

I love the format of it all, a driveway is not your typical locale for a TD game but im all here for it. good job making your own soundtrack, i usually try to (ran out of time this time) and i think it adds a really nice touch to a game jam game

This is really cool, love it

Keep making games!

thank you for the support

keep being a W!

Thank you for the support daytripper, glad you liked my mechanics and overall gameplay

thank you so much for the support

Keep being fuego!

Thanks so much boomrbam

Glad you liked my game, maybe tower defense mechanics could be cool, like you could craft robot allies in the day to help you at night or something?

As for the iron comment... you are right :laugh, dont know how i missed that. it is fixed now locally

Keep being incredible!

Wow what a great review and feedback

First, Id like to take the time to thank you for giving the most in depth review I have ever gotten on a game jam game, this is fantastic, I can tell you really put alot of effort in here and I am going to try and reciprocate this in my response.

I am sorry it crashed, if It makes you feel better, I already know why it crashed, my found the same bug myself first day of the jam 😅 and it's already fixed locally but nothing I can do until post jam unfortunately 😞 if your curious, because I'm lazy, I used the built in . duplicate (deep=true) function of the Array class in Godot, but this calls the default duplicate function on each element of the array without the correct permissions, causing the game to occasionally crash on repeated nights. I believe this is the error as it seemed to fix it locally

Drawing a dmg card on your first turn was a victim of time crunch, it was supposed to take out all of them at the end of the night but I didn't have energy to implement that on the last day 😞(kinda regret it now)

I agree with your synopsis on the weapons, ideally with more time there would have been a greater weapon variety as well as cards that do something other than damage

I 100% agree with your comment with a crafting phase, originally there was going to be a day phase where you collect, evening phase where you build, and night phase where you battle (again time crunch 😞)

Thanks for pointing out the music doesn't loop 😊 didn't realize 🤣

The camera thing is from laziness, it needs tweaking 100% it will be changed

I will let you know when I update this with a bug fix. I want to ask you since you've been so kind to really play this? Do you think with a bit more depth the battle mechanics could be fun as an actual game? That part I really liked and was hoping to take it further into something like a deck building rpg or something similar? Do you have any suggestions for me if I do?

Lastly, I'd like to thank you once again, genuinely the most in depth review I've ever gotten

Keep being an absolute boss!

wow this game is so pretty

i really liked the dialogue and how the game runs

id suggest letting people skip through dialogue, after you die, the slow pace of it is quite annoying

Keep making games

Thank you so much for the support, i think i will continue on it!

Keep being fantastic!

Thank you for the support, ill keep that in mind, thanks

Keep being duper!

I really like this game! super duper cute!

I loved the concept here, if you could ffr, put controls in the desc, i know its only the mouse but i thought at the beginning there were more.

Really really great game!

really nice idea and great execution of it

A hide and seek type game works really good here

Liked the story

Great job, keep making games

This is a really cool concept for a game and i can tell alot went into this.

However, id say this is a little too complicated for the game jam format to reach its full potential, maybe if it started with a tutorial or started simpler id be ok

Other than that, really enjoyed it! loved the artstyle

Keep making games

neat little game

liked the concept, was a little confused on what to do

keep making games

Wow, so many little games in such little time!

My favorite was by far the racing portion, but that makes sense since its the focus.

Liked the story, thought the car mechanics worked well

Great job!

Wow this was a neat and unique experience

The ship movement took me a while to get a grasp on but once i stopped thinking about it like a car i got it. the graphics and sound fit well and i think this is a really good use of the theme. good job!

Keep making games

Really? omg thanks for the support!

I really liked the card game system i got going on here so im thinking of taking it further! glad you liked the game, means a lot!

Keep being fantastic!

First of all, this game is beautiful! i love the pixel art, very professional

Secondly, the concept was super cool, combining something like doodle jump and a slinging platformer was really cool!

Sometimes i felt i didnt jump as high as i should, but other than that i found the controls worked well

Great game

Thanks for the experience

Thanks for the support, glad you liked it

Keep being epic

Thanks for the review

I truly gotta thank you for telling me what caused the bug and giving a detailed explanation on how to repeat it, i tried my best before the jam to get as many as i found, but i knew that there must be many more so you are saving me alot of time and energy!

glad you liked the idea, many thanks for playing

Keep being a legend!

Those are some really good suggestions, thank you

The movement will be one of the first things i change yea, its weird and causing some weird bugs others are experiencing

giving the player more time the first couple nights is also a really great idea i will keep in mind

Im glad you enjoyed my game, thank you for the support

Keep being a legend

So fuego

surprisingly ok considering who made it

This is super duper for a first game, or even as a game in general, really putting my first game to shame XD

This is a really nice bullet hell that i throughly enjoyed, i am still impressed by the background, so pretty

My only suggestion is to change the controls, my big hands dont all fit that close XD

Keep making games!

beat it during calm like a boss!

Great game fs, i noticed some spikes and platforms were broken, but alll in all, good job

Keep making games

Oh no this is so sad! i think your web build is broken

real shame because it looks like alot of work was put into it!

MSG me if im wrong, i hope i am

This was pretty cool!

Could use some faster pacing on the earlier nights

Still really enjoyed it

Keep making games!

Hey, this is a neat little game! However, i think you left in alot of developer code with the rewards

Great idea none the less, and i thought the transition from walking to boat was nice

Great job!

thanks 100pixels for the feedback, glad you enjoyed my game

It was a big relief to hear this as i was quite worried about this one

Thanks for playing

Keep being amazing!

woah that gave me the chills!

The voice acting was such a nice feature that added so much to the experience! i gotta say this is quite the professional package you have made. a sound effect or a on screen indicator that you got a key+how many you have would have definitely been nice. ig its my turn to wait for someone to give me a helping hand

all in all, great work

Keep making games!

wow what a extensive review, thank you so much

I'm glad you found a lot of fun in my game! I honestly forgot you could just go over lmao, should have thought of that

I think I know what error your talking about, I came across it once but couldn't replicate it

thank you so so so much for playing my game, means the world. its really cool to hear someone not only play it once, but play it so much they wanna reset button, such an amazing feeling! if i make a post jam version ill be sure to include it!

Keep being an absolutely fantastic!

I- what? Woah!

This game is CRAZY! most unique idea ive seen yet! the programming here must have been crazy to do

Absolutely incredible, its not everyday your blown away by an entry

wow, just wow

Keep up the FANTASTIC work

While this isnt the idea fully released. i think it was a solid idea to the theme.

neat little autobattler, victim of the time crunch, but hey that happens sometimes

Keep up the good work!

wow what a fantastic platformer

The art style is terrific and had really well done lighting

I think all the puzzles were well thought out too, i didn't get them immediately but got them fast enough that it wasn't frustrating which is where you wanna be.

Great work!

Thanks for playing my game

That is some good advice, i agree with you and can see your point

Hope you enjoyed it

Keep being a boss!

Thanks for the feedback, ill keep that in mind for future games

Keep being brilliant!
