The longer you survive the more harsh the storm becomes, spawning more tornadoes.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, I wrote most of the code and 3D models myself, but sound effects and shaders I got online. All sources are included in the download.

Cool driving game! The map is actually pretty big so it was fun trying to explore it all even if it felt kind of empty. You did a great job with the sound effects and the lightning effects, they actually kind of made me uneasy. Just wish there was more to the game, as it's difficult to get a game over if you're not actively chasing the tornados.
Cars steering is not easy to program, so the fact that you made it feel so good for a game jam is really impressive. Also, the camera movement is top notch. My only problem was knowing what to do. I thought the hurricanes were smoke that marked points of interest, so I drove into them :p
this is really cool, can you add a "chug beer" button to make the driving more fun and realistic?
driving mechanic actually feels really nice though, nice ambience and feeling of the storm getting crazy with all the sfx. and drifty driving controls. just wish there was more of a way to know what was happening, felt like i was just driving around at random. maybe thats actually what it feels like to drive in oklahoma lol

If I make a post-jam patch I'll ofc add a chug beer bottle. I might also add some other objective than just surviving so it's not just driving around at random.
