How does your game fit the theme?
It's calm before the storm because it's simple to do the initial soldiers setup and kill mobs easily until the big boss comes into play and you would need quite a few cards to defeat him.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I did write all the code. The assets I got from Kenney2D and the music from a C0 License provider.

Not bad. However, I would prefer to have more control over were the units go.
I liked the game and had some while playing it but it would be better if there would be a button that makes waves come faster so when there is not a boss you quickly progress in game. Cool game<3
Nice little game. Bit confusing at the start and had some trouble reading the cards. The part with the rats was way too easy and i found myself just rotating same weapons as I lacked any card to spawn soldiers, once the boss spawned it was over as I couldn't replenish the guards from constantly re playing the 3 cards and pulling more weapons. I would say it's a good start and there are things to improve on game wise. The art was lovely and that very short song was nice.
The game works, but it has room for improvement. The text on the cards is hard to read. The choice of making the game too easy between the boss spawns was not great from a player perspective. I had to endure ten minutes of boring gameplay to get to a more exciting part (boss).
Nice game. There is sometime detection/collision issue, but nothing blocking.
I perhaps did not play well, but I had a lot of weapon , more that what I need, so I give them to a soldier just to get an empty slot.
Other than that it was nice to play. Perhaps speedup things could help.
This was a cute game! I really liked the art design - it was very elegant.
I was a bit confused initially, because I think I ended up not drawing a single other soldier card, which left me unable to defend the fortress at all. Additionally, there were a couple issues I ran into with the audio cutting out randomly during the middle of the game.
Great job!
