How does your game fit the theme?
The game I made is about working quickly during the calm before a storm to prepare your shelter. I opted for a more direct interpretation of the prompt, so I think it should integrate pretty intuitively!

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code and made all the art assets. I downloaded a font from online (with the author credited in game) and got a couple sounds from the YouTube Audio Library, but beyond that I did it all myself.

What a beautiful game! We are quickly caught up in the atmosphere thanks to the sounds and the very beautiful graphics. As flaws I note the absence of feedback with the interactions (a sound for example or a highlight for the objects with which we can interact) and perhaps a reminder of the instructions somewhere on the screen. Apart from that it is very cool, bravo for this entry!

A great little game. Even though it's short, every second is used well and makes the game fun and engaging. I would've loved more levels and some soundtrack to it. Great work!

Pretty cool game, even though the items are too scattered around the map.

Hope that you'll also play mine :) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973690

i can not play your game on my Mac, but i rated it based on your screenshots (looks like a really nice game) and other peoples comments :)

Great art and pleasing visual effects! I loved the lightning flashes and the subtly of the screen becoming darker as the game progresses. The premise is good and simple, and how can you get any closer to the theme then that? I understand that there is supposed to be a degree of exploration around the island to find the items and do tasks, but with such a severe timer, that formula ends up being very brutal to new players--something to keep in mind. I couldn't find the generator💀

Uh anyway, I really do like this and you should keep making games!

I like it. ^-^ The art is pleasing, and the limited inventory doesn't bother me. Adds to the challenge! Seeing the walk cycle makes me wish I had set aside the time to make a proper one for my game, lol. My only critique with this is the required precision. If you don't know where things are and obtain them efficiently, you will not complete everything in time. The first attempt or two is doomed. Overall though, nice work!

Nice atmosphere, a very literal take on the theme! My first try was just exploring, and the second try executing. I doubt anyone could go through this in one go without knowing where everything is. It would have been nice to be able to tell what each object was while it was on the ground, the oil can and bucket looked weird. Otherwise your art is good!

It was tough managing picking up supplies and putting down the axe etc, but overall it was challenging enough to be pretty fun. Great work! Congrats and good luck!

I wouldn't listen to people complaining about one slot. In a timer based game like this one slot is the whole point. You have to manage your time well. Reminds me of old games, where you had to actually think about your actions.  Well done! Artstlye is great too. My only complain would be weird hitboxes of tiles. For example roof seem to block my character, even though it shouldn't.

Cool game, the sound of thunder in the background adds atmosphere, and one slot adds complexity and forces you to think through whole logistics in order to get everything done. The theme is conveyed well and the graphics are good. Nice job!

Loved the game! Main thing to complain about is time, but it is a problem mostly because of the one item slot. But yet again the idea of being able to carry only one thing is intriguing, it makes you think what you need items for and where to put them so you can save time when you need to go get them back!

Fun and engaging! The art style really draws you in, and searching for resources around the island adds a great exploration element. Increasing inventory slots would be a huge plus to reduce backtracking. Nice potential for a more polished version!

Very good game! Love the art!

This is a very promising game, I think it's pretty fun to explore the island searching for resources and completing tasks as you go. With some little improvements, this could be a fantastic game!! Good job :)

Here is my advice:

I wish I could have more time to complete the tasks, I managed to finish almost all of them but even having memorized where are the main objects, It's really hard to win the game.

The main problem I had was that I could only carry one object at a time, this was pretty annoying because you had constantly to drop your axe in middle of nowhere, carry the wood and return to catch it again. Adding more slots to the inventory would be a nice improvement!

Thank you for the feedback! I think you're absolutely right about the inventory slots - that could definitely make it a more streamlined experience. Thanks for playing / rating, and great job on your project as well!

I couldn't get in it time but it was super fun! I love the art for the player character!!

nice work! I feel like the player moves a tad slow, and it would be nice to have a few more inventory slots, but those things arent a huge deal and i think it was a really good game overall :]

Thanks for the rating! I think you're definitely right about the inventory slots, and the player movement speed could definitely be increased as well.
