How does your game fit the theme?
The levels start off calm by having calmer music and allowing you take your time. However after collecting a storm rock, a storm comes into the level, causing more intense music to play and a timer to go off, where if it runs out, starts to flood the level.

In other words, the 'calm before' part is the bit where you can take your time and 'the storm' part is the bit where you must rush to the end

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
With the exception of the Tiny5 font made by Gissio, Simon Cozens and mressl, all assets (including music) was created from scratch

Free Trid, he didn't do anything wrong!! I had a really fun time playing this game. It's a simple concept, but it's executed perfectly. You did a great job with the progressing difficulty for each level, and you even added quality of life mechanics such as jump buffer and coyote timer (which I myself lacked). This allowed for the levels to be a lot more enjoyable. You also made the perfect music to go along with both the calm and storm areas. And the storm timer is the right amount to feel nervous about getting to the warp zone, but also high enough where it doesn't feel impossible. I think all I would recommend is that in the second last level with the 3 second timer, try to make the rain not take as much space, as it got pretty distracting. But overall, I really enjoyed this game!

I really appreciate how you gave the character jump buffer and coyote time. I had a little issue with the cloud jumping. If you somehow made something like coyote time for the cloud jump, so you don't have to hold jump before landing on the cloud, but can hit spacebar right when you land, it would feel more natural (IMO). Also I didn't realize until the last level that the timer hitting zero didn't kill you, but just made the water started rising, so I found the second to last level much more difficult than the last. Good game, cohesive visuals, nice music, but the jump sound does get a little annoying after a while. (A tip I heard for that is to slightly vary the pitch each time it plays.) The theme is well implemented. (The water rising is really important for the theme.) Took me about 20 minutes to beat.
