How does your game fit the theme?
The levels start off calm by having calmer music and allowing you take your time. However after collecting a storm rock, a storm comes into the level, causing more intense music to play and a timer to go off, where if it runs out, starts to flood the level.

In other words, the 'calm before' part is the bit where you can take your time and 'the storm' part is the bit where you must rush to the end

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
With the exception of the Tiny5 font made by Gissio, Simon Cozens and mressl, all assets (including music) was created from scratch

Fun little platformer, loved the art and the gameplay was pretty smooth too great job :D

Really fun platformer. The environment changes were a nice QoL.

Hee-ho. Very good platformer. Good job

Wow! So addicting. I couldn't stop playing trying to pass the level. Nice work!

I really did enjoy this platformer. The movement felt pretty precise, and the storm mechanic did change the pace of the gameplay. Only thing that would've been nice was a new movement option to spice up the platforming, but that's my opinion. Great entry! (Going to jail at the end was a funny addition lol)

Very cool concept with the blocks that change states with rain, i'd love to see some more puzzles with that vibe. Maybe you need to set up something in the dry phase so the way is easier in the rain.

The y movement of the camera is too much tho!

Overall a very nice game

That is some insane amount of work put in there.  The game is a simple platformer but polished to a level of a commercial game, with more than half a dozen of levels.  Spectacular!

Suggestions:
None.

Good game!! liked the level design and art. the music is also pretty pumped ;D

Nothing much to add for the bug report. :D

Kudos!!

A great take on the theme! There were some clever level designs. I'm not sure if there were any consequences for the timed dropping to zero after collecting a storm rock. In one level it was even impossible - the timer started right away and there were only 3 seconds on it.

Nice job! I dig the platforming and assets (although I did get stuck at that short-hop spike trap on level 3). My one complaint is that the jump sfx is in the same octave as the base line for your music, so it clashes a little. Easily fixed by raising or lowering the jump sound pitch by one octave ^-^

Nice game just felt a steep difficulty curve!

I found your game because of a post I saw made by a user called Champpeace, and I'm really glad I played this game!

Really like that D-pad on controller with action button was supported, nice touch. The graphics and audio were awesome and the gameplay mechanics were very much fun.

The game over transition reminds me of one from a particular Super Mario game.

I really liked how you go through the level, and by the way the movement and jumping was very clean. I liked when you collected it the game went into the storm phase with the timer where you go backwards through the level (and sometimes not exactly backwards) - really nice job on the game!

very nice platformer game, that teaches the player without text, which is not easy to do, loved that you added controller support!

I really liked this game. It has this retro style to it that makes it quite charming really. I appreciate how you added the much needed coyote time and jump buffer. And overall the controls were just very nicely tuned, the jump was perfect, along with the speed. And the storm countdown did a good job of making me panic a little. Also, I loved the detail of the player changing color when dying in the water. It's a really solid platformer tbh.

Pretty fun Wariolike! Nice job!

Only criticism was that some of the spike platforms were kinda annoying

Made it to the end, went to jail. Nice job! What I made is quite similar in that it's a challenging 2D pixel platformer with a unique mechanic. It hits the theme better than most games here and it was fun to play through! I hope we can get this up to 20 rates so that you end up placing, would be disappointing for you! I'll work on getting people in the Brackey's discord server to play it, as is lolkira24 (they told me about this game). Make sure you go play other people's games, some people will play the games of everyone who plays theirs!
