Simple and Unique.I like the Narrative. Is it inspired by Balatro? i wonder. I played Balatro Before and i love that Satisfying feeling whenever the card start Scoring, maybe u can add Animation that has similiar Feeling to Balatro and it will be even better, just add more Game Juices. I felt Engaged through out the game, What is your secret to The Game Balance? honestly though i felt the base card is Useless on the Late Game. Overall a good game. I Beat It:

Very cool concept, the crow is very wise. That's why it felt great when i figure out a strategy/concept before the crow tells me about it. But it would be great if the UI was a bit more polished to indicate which rewards I've unlocked? Very impressive how you made a simple, but fun card game in such a short time though

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you for the kind words! Yeah I agree, I wanted to polish the UI more but you know how game jams are.
The last 10 hours were a frantic game breaking bug fixing session so I never got the time. That's why I compromised and just left some dialogue reminding the player that they might've
missed a reward.
I'm happy you enjoyed it despite the slightly rough UI!

I think I got True Ending+

And what's funny is that I had already done the 200k quest as the solution to the 50k quest

And yes I read all the dialogue, you're welcome
All the Caws are well drawn but the Joker looks like his wing is pretending to be a moustache. A fine fella.

I really liked how it looked and the personal expression you poured through this game. Super meta.

Developer

Hahaha! I really didn't expect anyone to find that secret! Even if they
realised they got all jokers i didnt think anyone would try to play all seven
cards.
Thank you for playing through so thoroughly, you're the only person to 100%
the game as far as I know!

Really enjoyed playing this. Fun and intuitive gameplay mixed with a  great message, well done! :)

Developer

Thanks for playing! Happy to hear you enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed the visual themeing, but I wound up playing out about a dozen hands, not realising I was still in the tutorial text and not actually achieving anything! Agh!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, i put a lot of work into the visuals! A shame to hear about the wasted time, hope it didn't affect your thoughts on the game too much!

That's what i needed emotional narrative with balatro like gameplay. Great work overall it feels very relaxing to play. This narration kind of reminds me of "The Beginner's Guide".

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind words! Balatro and The Beginner's Guide were both huge inspirations for the game!
