How does the game fit the theme?
Our protagonist, Dig, an archeologist, gets the ability to rewind time after falling in a ditch and encountering a strange statue. He is then tasked with preventing a war between two factions that might just destroy the valley and the villages in it.

The only problem being that he has to do so in just a day. Whenever Dig is not able to prevent the war, he uses his powers to rewind time and try again, ensuring that nothing ever goes wrong!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Music & SoundTracks (RPGMaker RTP)
Game Over Screen (RPGMaker RTP)

thought it was just a bit confusing on how to progress, until I read the description. It felt a bit bad as well to have to check on every npc repeatedly to see who would progress the game

nice game otherwise though

Really cool art style. Love the top down assets and game boy feel. You should check out GB studio if you havent already.

Lovely game. Rating given. Please return the favour.

Pretty complex RPG for a game developed in 1 week! The second room (the one with three boulders) was kinda annoying; it was really easy to softlock by pushing the middle boulder down the hall. Leaving and reentering did fix this, though.

The visuals are super cute! Weirdly, this game didn't work for me on chrome, but did on firefox

Love the art style here. What a great use of the palette. Also what an incredibly complex game for a one week deadline.

Nice one. But I don't understand the reason of being this much green?
