Summary:  This was funny concept in regards the tricking the player. It felt fluid enough to get the game idea across.

What should improve:

  • The player sprite and tile-maps should polished on moving forward.
  • Sound setting sliders
  • Fix the gravity issue in the jumping. There is a delay on input.
  • UI  Improved button UI and more sprite art for title screen.

What I'd like to see:

  • More levels More visual story telling. Why the player is there?
  • More mechanics to the levels. Maybe sprint option int he game as well.

Thank you for the feedback. I will work on implementing all of these.

Pretty short, but still cool

Developer(+1)

Thank you, but yes i know it is very short. Since this was my first game i spend a lot of time familiarizing myself with the Unity Editor.

This being your first game is awesome! Especially for a 1man crew :) Really nice contribution thank you! Definetly keep developing

Developer

Thank you, I will definitely keep developing :D

Impressive for being your first game, keep up the good work! I like the idea of everything going wrong, it's the opposite of my game actually.

I would say for future platformers, increased gravity and jump force would feel better, snappier.

Developer

Thank you! I will definitely do that, It's true that the movements feels kinda off.

This game gave me a good chuckle, love a good troll game, and some of those trolls really slapped XD. You'd kick ass at mario maker, the variety and comedy of the trolls you packed in this little game is impressive.  Also having a checkpoint was really nice, and separates this game from rage troll games like cat mario. Think you could keep going hard on the trolls, got a little confused in the last segment when going slowly because I was waiting for the ceiling to come down to do something cursed, which I can see was a little hassle to implement :p
I also think art can stay secondary, be funny if the art improved as the game went on tho :p

Love it, keep it up!

Thank you! I get that you got confused on the last segment, I didnt have a lot of time left and really wanted one more level.

Well now you have all the time in the world for that ^_^

Really cool game, I would recommend playing around more with the visuals, like a different background color, and tiles for the platforms/spikes, cuz rn they don't match with the character. but for your first game it's really cool. Keep it up

Thank you for the feedback! I definitely would've added more visuals if i had more time.
