Fun game. Like the portals :D

Nice game. I like the puzzles and the art style. Switching the characters is a ncie idea.

But the portal placement does not work very well for me.

Nice game, great narrative. The portal placement was a bit hard.

Great character mechanic, albeit portal placement took some time to figure out. A good piece of work!

I loved the music, and the art. You guys did quite well for the time allotted. I figured out the "bug" on level three. When the saws come at the female character it displays her text, but the male character is selected. It was confusing but I eventually figured it out. Not sure if it was intentionally part of the puzzle or an accident. Thanks for posting.

Cool mechanics involving the use of two characters but there's not enough clue on how I should use the character's skill. Overall it's a really good platformer game.

Cool design idea with controlling 2 characters.  it was fun figuring out what to do.  Keep working on it!  The graphic style is very clean and crisp~ parallax back ground would look great with the character design.  Great job submitting a game to the jam!  Please check out mine when you have time :)

Im impressed, one does no t get to see very often in a jam games with such narrative work behind it like this. Also, it is remarcable how you have drawn and animated not one, but two main characters. Moreover, the mechanics are interesting and fun to play with. The only advice I would give is to improve a little more is the portal mechanic, as it sometimes is not easy to use.

Congratulations again for such an amazing work!

Good job. I really like the characters!

It was a bit hard to place portals and the level where the saws came down was confusing at first because it just zoomed in a restarted. If there was a "You Died" screen it might be a little more clear. I thought it might be a level with just portals at first. But the mechanics were cool and it was fun to try and figure out puzzles with the two characters you could control. I really enjoyed the art and music, too!

The art direction of the main characters was on point! Really loved it.
But a lot can be improved for the animations, the characters feel very stiff!! The portal mechanic is very buggy! it's hard to tell where we can place the portals and even the time bubble can have better representation also the jump feels kinda dead in the game!

Would love to see the development in this one, as I can clearly see that you guys want to keep developing it! All the best!

Due to a  bug I couldn't progress further than level 3 because I kept dying instantly. Though from the things I played I really enjoyed it! The mechanics were interesting and paired with 2 players it was very great. It  could even be a 2 player game in the future that would need good coordination but it also works  great the way it  is now. Well Done!

Really nice game.
Great work on the charater art and music.
I liked that you introduced the player to the mechanics of the characters.
The is a lot of potential for the abilities.

For some minor improvements:
- In the stage with the saws next to Touka it can be confusing for the player when the foucs lies on Naoki (other character dies of screen)
- The portal mechanic of Naoki didn't always respond. Not sure how the mechanics was implemented. As far as programming goes you might want to look into raycasting and collision normal to spawn the portals. (Just a suggestion).

Kepp it up and happy jamming.

Thank you!
We're glad you enjoyed the game, everyone worked really hard  to make it something we'd love to play.

Another thanks for pointing out the improvements, we noticed it could get a little confusing at the beginning, the death counter was actually born because even we kept dying over and over due to the saws :D

I wasn't the one responsible for the Portal mechanics but, we have noticed that the portals sometimes refuse to open when placed near the player character or when other objects are nearby.

Thank you for your time, and happy jamming!

Enjoyed the music. The anime art was great and the narration and animations were really good too. Overall well done.

enjoyed the game! anime theme was superb, music was also on point. fact that tutorials were repeating when u died became a chore, wish there was a way to disable them. also background visuals didn't matched characters (since they were so detailed and background was so minimalistic) so it was immersion breaking to me.  had good experience overall. great job!
