Controls feel a bit odd but still enjoyed the game!
That was a very nice experience, little short one but nevermind I liked it. Great work :)
Love love love the artstyle. Reminds me of fallout. i think the gameplay could use a bit more polish and some more content (enemy types, different firing modes maybe) but hey it's a gamejam so that's fine really. It's a nice game overall.
I liked the graphics. The character is a bit hard to control because of how much he slides.
Great job on finishing your game. Liked the arts but it was really hard to aim your projectile. Also the ground feels like ice so its kinda hard to stop where I want it to stop. Nonetheless well done.

The old style game play felt really refreshing. I enjoyed the game play and the Ant Hole felt pretty comparable to photos I've seen online so good job. I was wondering if you watched the AntsCanada on YouTube? Respawning felt a bit weird, I spawned on top of the enemies a few times and that was a bit annoying. Besides that, the attack felt pretty cool but weird to control but that may just be me needing to get good. Keep up the good work!
The graphics and animations reminded me of old starcraft, nicely done! However I had a possibly rare issue playing it, when the game started I thought the controls were WASD, but it did nothing, then I remembered I have a gamepad plugged in, I try it out and it actually works! I was able to move and shoot using the gamepad, but when I died once and respawned, the gamepad no longer worked and the keyboard did
Ha! We never tested it with a gamepad, but we used the new Input System which happened to be mapped correctly 😈 which platform were you playing? There was a bug we fixed where you'd lose control right after dying, and I fixed it I thought 🤔
I am on Windows, it's pretty cool that the new Input System works out of the box like that, I'll definitely give that a try sometime :)

Cool retro graphics
Controls feels great, colliders are fine, and graphics reminds me old days, player movement could be just a little bit smaller
Suggestions
*You may add a script to summon enemies randomly wave by wave so game will go on forever, this way it will be also a highscore game
*Randomized location for queen and a random map (Procedural)
Ohhh that's good idea, randomized waves of enemies!
We did add in a randomization of the queen's location but I think it was only 1 of 3 places hehe, not too many :)
The Queen is Safe! Reminds me of Brood War graphics.
I really like this one, it gives me flash backs to a lot of SNES games with the style and graphics. Very nice and it plays really well.
