In what way does your game fit the theme?
Hero must rewind to the past with Machine of Rewind.
So our idea is that our hero must save his popular friend (that was killed in past) against Murder Syndicate and to do that he construct a machine that will rewind to past and protect friend. (StoryTelling)
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

I loved the graphics and audio of your game and the animations are excellent, great work, although there are a couple of issues to fix
1) you left an entire useless HDRPGameJam_Data folder in your final build. It only increases the size of your game and serves no purpose. If you wanted to change the name of your project from HDRPGameJam to Time Rescue, you could just change the name of the exe and the _Data folder
if you erased HDRPGameJam_Data, your game would weight(compressed) just 109MB instead of 276MB
2) Walking and running speeds are too slow, and you go faster if you just jump and then move to the right
3) If you keep pressing M1, the shooting animation keeps playing, but no bullets come out. (Check out animation Event triggers to shoot gun every time the animation reaches a ceartain point)
4) You can ignore every enemy except the boss and the ones who shoot your friend, and after killing the boss the victory screen is too sudden, you should show that the boss dies before doing that.
5) You dont explain the controls (although you explain them in the game page, you should also leave either a tutorial or a "How to Play" inside your game)
Overall, you have great talent for art, graphics and audio, pretty impressive. Good Job :D
Thanks
1) I build my game in HDRP(my fault) so this too much for 2d platformer also i know how to change name.
2)in this ver jump was deleted so idk how you can jump XD
3) I think that was fixed
4) I think i will make screen animation and good timing for victory screen
5)Ok i think i can do that
Art by RedOrange :)
idk, i just pressed space when standing completly still and it worked, then i moved to the sides.
Edit
Wait, I have an idea. I remeber being able to jump AFTER changing the _Data contents for the HDRP_Data contents. maybe that version didnt have jumping disabled? I dunno
I really liked the art and music but there was to much walking, the boss needs a health bar and jumping needs to be fixed :)
Thank you In this version of game we dont have jump becouse it was broken so i will fix that as soon as posible
It was pretty fun! One thing I would add is walking faster, it takes a long time to get to places :^)
Hope you had fun making it!! ^^
Thanks
Fixing bugs is not fun but i like what i did!
The graphics look just great.
But the shooting is not working properly and there is no real point to fight because you could just walk through the enemies. The story was nice!
Thank you.
Yes, you just can walk through the enemies but they can join to kill you when you fighting with boss(They follow target)
The art and audio was well done and the last boss guy is huge! In regards to mechanics, perhaps there's a little too much walking after finding a colleague back in time. Even though it was nice just taking in the scenery, it could be a little shorter. Good humor in the script writing.
Well done overall!
Thank you!
"Good humor in the script writing." - wow.. you understand :)
Really loved the artwork and audio. Think you have a real talent for it. The dialogue windows were also nicely made and the characters.
Some constructive feedback:
Think this game has real potential for a commercial version similar to Blade Runner, where you have to kind of puzzle detective your way through the story.
Anyways, good job and please try my game too ^^
Lackie dies because he was killed by 3-rd killer.
In note that you find (Dialogue with note) was written that 3 killers must kill Lackie but there was only 2.
Thank you!
Cute little story based shooter. The shooting was a little off, and there is no way to not get hit by the enemy bullets. Spent a decent amount of time just walking, but the music and art make up for that. Overall well done.
Thanks for honest review
The atmosphere specially the background was great, you could feel you were actually in a city.
But the gameplay needs a bit more variety, maybe jumps or some special attack. There's no way to dodge bullets, I can see you fixed it by increasing player's health to a point that you basically can't die but some way to dodge them would be much more fun.
Also some sort of impact like maybe some particles on enemies getting hit would be nice.
thanks, we take away jump ability becouse it was broken (wnem you press D then Space) and I didn't have enough time to fix
Art, sound and atmosphere are excellent, and more importantly, the developer took time out of their day to release a lower-end version for slower PCs.
That in itself, shows a commitment that most people lack. Thanks a TON for your hard work!
Thank You :D
The gameplay is a bit lacking, maybe adding some jumping/vertical areas to spice it up would help (a level in a skyscraper would be cool). However, the art and sounds are nice so good job!
Thank you:)
i take away jump becouse it was broken :(
Really liked pixelart and atmosphere! The only thing is that the game is a little slow and UI might have been done better, to make the game look more consistent
Ok thanks
The pixel art looks great, ambience and lighting is nice. The gameplay feels sluggish and weird, idk, I can't say what exactly, I think it's because you just keep shooting your gun and move right, there's no real control.
The interaction also feels weird as you talk and shoot at the same time, lol.
But still, good work for finishing the game.
Thanks)
