Thank you for playing our game
We didn't really sacrifice anything for other, everyone did a great job with everything but it's just that the  programmer who was in charge of implementing the gameplay mechanics (me) messed up testing and polishing up mechanics before publish. So in the end we could either let everyone's efforts go to waste and not publish the game at all or publish it in its current state.

But thanks for the feedback, we're definitely planning to fix them and update the game after the jam.

Hey thank you for playing our game. Unfortunately we had very little time to actually make the level and in transition from the demo scene to the actual level, we faced some bugs that we didn't have time to fix. Also for some reason the windows build screwed up some stuff that worked in editor.

In short, you can't finish the game now only because the escape windows can't be interacted with. And yes there's an end cut scene that you can't see because of the same bug.

The art looked amazing and gameplay could be pretty addictive, but unfortunately it was too short for such a complicated game (or I'm too dumb :D), so as soon as I thought I understand how it works, the game ended.
But everything was very well implemented and the interesting story along with thorough tutorial kept me going till the end.

Great job!

Thanks for playing! Unfortunately we ran out of time to implement more foods and specific percentage for each food, so in its current state just getting to about 50% on each bar is enough to have a perfect burger.
Also having mouse control is a great suggestion! We'll probably add it along with fixing some of those physics glitches if we decide to work on it after the jam.

Btw great stream! Unfortunately I couldn't watch the stream live tonight.

Glad you liked it! We did use premade assets for sounds/music and most of the art, but the UI elements were made during the jam.
Thank you for playing and great feedback!

I really enjoyed the game, I think I spent at least an hour trying to beat it :D Loved the simple yet polished-looking aesthetics.  Pretty unique and addictive idea especially since levels are so well designed.
There's just some small problem with the physics of the ball (it doesn't immediately stop when you stop pressing A/D) so jumping on those tiny platforms was in some cases unnecessarily hard. It sometimes happens after teleporting too, got me killed a few times this way.
Also not sure if there's something wrong with ground check or all inputs are not being registered, but double jump was really hard to execute well. It sometimes doesn't work at all which particularly sucks when you have to plan your jumps so accurately in later levels.
Amazing game!

Btw I was wondering what's slowing down the game so much? It's lagging even in windows build, not a lot but still noticeable.

I love it! I've been trying to get past the simple scientist and the guy with heart for 30-40 minutes but can't find any recipes that would match them.
But this is amazing, so chill yet so addictive. I haven't played anything like this and I don't think I've ever been hooked on any jam game this much.
This has so much potential if developed more, I can see it becoming so successful that you're gonna be finding clones of it on google play :D
Great job!

The game looks so cute! and the cows mutating based on the land is a really cool idea, I just wish there was more to do.
Also not sure if I'm just dumb or it's not in place yet, but I couldn't unlock more than 8 kinds of milk

What I love the most about this game is how much time you guys spent on making everything from scratch, there are some simple things you could've done to make it look more polished but this is amazing. Everything looks great and the idea behind it is pretty unique, especially since you have to do something different in each person's mind.
It was pretty straightforward too with accurate directions. Unlike many jam games, I didn't feel lost at any point in the game.

I think your game deserves a lot more attention, you've obviously spent a lot of time on it, I suggest you don't let go of it and develop it further in future. You can put it up on twitter or other social networking websites so people notice it more.

Every member of your team did an amazing job!

I love this game! Everything looks amazing and gameplay is pretty brutal but fun, one thing that's made the game pretty hard is not having much control over the length of grappling hook but overall you did an awesome job!

I understand your struggle with finishing the game, the theme was pretty prone to overscoping :D
The first thing that came to my mind was making a Spore like game before I was reminded of the amount of time we would have to actually finish it.
But the assets you've made are amazing! I love the atmosphere. No doubt it would've turned out great if you had more time. I suggest you work on it after the jam, it has a pretty neat idea behind it.

The gameplay is pretty fun and engaging, great variety of upgrades and enemies. Also I love the Isaac feel.
Oh and your artist(s) are amazing. They came up with so much in only 2 days!

Great job!

I love the blood splatter and death effect, having to shoot using right mouse button and actually aim in a side scroller is a bit of a weird choice but made for a different kind of shooter.
Also great job on making everything yourself, definitely not something everyone can achieve in 2 days.
One tiny problem I had was with UI not scaling properly,  for example I couldn't click on Skip button in full screen and when I wasn't in full screen, the skip button and shop button covered the whole screen.
I quite enjoyed it, great job overall!

That's what we were going for :D
Glad you like it!

Micro Mutators is about a weird microwave that doesn't necessarily cook the food properly, but you have to do your best and keep the food as edible as possible.
We made it in 48 hours for ld discord jam, would love to get some feedback.
Check out the game here: https://john-ng.itch.io/micromutators

It's just amazing! If you made this as your first game, I can't imagine what you're gonna pull off in a few months.
I loved everything about this game, great choice of music/sounds, mesmerizing visuals and gameplay was pretty engaging. Those aliens nearly gave me a heart attacks :D
Great job! Keep being awesome!

This is an amazing game! The gameplay is so smooth and addictive, having variety of upgrades lets you keep going for a long time.
Apart from game play, it looked great! The post processing, the particles, the lighting, everything was amazing,  It looks like like a full fledged mobile game. Add some touch control and just release it on google play as it is :D
I also really liked the idea of being able to change music and the "mood" of the level whenever you want.

I want to give useful and honest feedback but I couldn't find any issues or anything wrong with the game. Great job!

That's a great game you made! I love the scenery, everything's so beautiful and the level design is perfect! The controls are also pretty smooth and being able to adjust mouse sensitivity has made it even better. The enemies were too cute to kill at first but once I convinced myself to do it, I had a blast slaughtering them :D
Also the UI is amazing, it's pretty neat idea to have your ship travel to different parts of the menu.

I just have two suggestions:
-Add some sort of lose screen, I was pretty confused the first few times I died because I hadn't seen the health UI yet and I didn't know enemies actually damage you so much, so I thought the game has bugged out and thrown me back to menu when I died.
-Share more screenshots from this beautiful level you made on itch page and make a short gif for your cover image

We're glad you liked the game and thank you for great feedback.

I think most of your points are valid,  just a couple of things, the looping animation was intentional, we thought it would look kinda funny since gravity is low and player's in air for a while after jumping.
You can also turn using arrow keys, I'm interested to know if rotation speed of camera was too fast for you.
And about lightning, we were so worried about performance that we tuned down a lot of things so everyone can play, but yeah we probably should set the default to polished for windows.

Again we really appreciate you taking the time to play our game and giving us valuable feedback.

Thanks for playing!
haha that was actually the special level you found :D

This is a great game! The environment looks so amazing and I love how you decided to have multiple levels instead of one long level.
The gameplay is pretty fun, loved dodging those candies :D

Great job!

This is so addictive! I was playing for half an hour telling myself I'm just gonna do one more day...

I love everything about it. The game looks so amazing and unique, the music fits the game perfectly and the UI is great. I was just wondering when these kids actually study :D

The game looks so cool! I love the music and the dialogues too, can't wait to see where it goes.

I love the dialogues and your sense of humor!
I had a blast helping these cute characters, especially helping the cat get his groove back.

Don't worry about not having time to include some features, it was amazing for 2 weeks.

Whacking trolls never felt better :D hitting the trolls is really satisfying with the screen shake and blood splatter. The game's really engaging.

Great job!

The sword has knockback so it can be useful when you're cornered by enemies but beside that yeah it's a bit useless :D
I appreciate the feedback :->

haha yeah I found out I can shoot them after reading the game's page. Super fun!

Thanks for playing!
Yeah honestly I'm not happy with the sound myself, I had to find and add all the sound effects 30 minutes before deadline so it's pretty lackluster. I appreciate your detailed feedback.

The movement is so fun. Most of the time I was just drifting around trying to avoid monsters. I love how interactive the whole environment is and the game looks and feels pretty polished.
I would just reduce the turning speed a little so it's  easier to aim.

I was actually looking for a racing game in the jam and this is the closest thing I've found so far :D
Great job!

Great atmosphere and aesthetics along with a nice story. The gameplay is pretty fun too, a little frustrating at times but that's just me sucking at platformers :D
Also the particles on player character made the jumping so satisfying. It's probably one of the most polished games in the jam.

Amazing job!

Oh that's great! I would love to know what you think.

It's a fun and cute game. I love the story and the barking mechanic, I would love to play a longer version with dog going around destroying buildings and scaring people by barking :D

Great job!

It's a really interesting idea, got stuck in different places couple of times but overall it was fun to explore the map.
It does need some more polish and play test to fix locations where player can get stuck (if that's not intentional)

Great job!

I love the concept, the gameplay is so fun and engaging too.
You used the assets so well but a bit more variety in the color of trees and grasses would've been nice, maybe different shades of green.

Great job!

I couldn't finish the game but even though puzzles are not really my thing, your game was so engaging to me.
I love the through tutorial, it helped a lot but there could be a little more explanation about how patterns are, maybe some more examples.

Great job! If I were you I would work on the game more and release it on google play, it could become pretty successful.

Thanks for playing and I really appreciate the feedback.
Enemies are actually knocked back when hit by sword but you're right staff is a little unbalanced.

It's so addictive! I kept saying to myself I'm just gonna have one more try till I finally killed the boss :D

Great job on everything!

It's a pretty unique game. I didn't think anyone could use kenny's 1 bit art pack for such game, that's amazing!
I love the concept and gameplay is fun but I think it needs some more polish. Specially switching between planets is a bit too hard and honestly most of the time I did it randomly.
