In what way does your game fit the theme?
Time Travellers can rewind time if they think that they are wiping out their own existence.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Some of the assets in my game are purchased with legal licence and most of them are made by me. All the code is written by me.

Very cool game, i enjoyed playing it while also jamming out to the music

I liked how the time-slow felt, and the music was nice. The collision were a bit off however and it's pretty easy to beat each level by just sprinting past enemies.

Hey man ! Pretty fun little shooter you got there.

Id get to the sweet ol criticism for you

Pros:

-As a fan of star wars I approve (Except making me kill BB-8, that was cruel haha)

-The levels are very simple and can hold quite many enemies.

-Like the super hot feel to it

-Music was dope hope you made it !

Cons:

-The game is cool that it is 3d but the 2d sprites dont work with it well

-At the end of second level you can choose to fight infinitely and the buttons dont work. I press escape to get my mouse and after pressing them nothing happens.

-I dont really like the way collision works in the game sometimes they just dont work.

If you are thinking of continuing this game I hope you add vsync as my screen was really teary at some parts. Here is my honest little opinion about you game. This is not supposed to offend you so approach it with open mind my friend. Would definitely love if you could check out my game as well and leave a detailed feedback as it really helps for post jam development.

Thank you very much  and hope you do well!

Hmm.. This was a bit quite EH for me - but you have potential in some bits, let's start with the positives:

1) Multiple enemies was servicable, each with their unique identities and how they try to kill you. The AI was okay but I very quickly got tired of killing them and just ran past them only to realise they were no threat at all.

2) Your time slow mechanic was cool. But that's about it. It's a mechanic very reminiscent of Superhot but I don't think you utilised it well in your game.

Thematically, I don't see anything you can do with rewind. I either might have missed it but your tutorial did not say anything about rewinding at all. I don't think this was well made in that regard.

I think you should revisit the drawing board on this one. As far as anything goes, it's a first-person shooter, with shurikens instead, and a time slow mechanic. I felt like in order for this game to work, you needed a LOT of time, to fine-tune the AI and for good level design.

You should consider narrowing your focus in the next game, maybe only make 1 enemy and build your entire game around that, and your central core mechanic. In this game, your core mechanic would be the slow time. So think of something along those lines.

You can try and study Superhot for its game design.

Cheerios.

Fighting star wars robots was fun I guess, but consider a way for us to win the game somehow! Good game overall!

Hope you had fun making it!! ^^

Thank you! :P

Huh, a really simplistic, funny and satisfying game that's something everyone should do in GameJam. Really good job

The aiming could be a bit more polished.

This is my game

This game was fun to play and handled really nicely. I do wish there was a story/ more of a goal to flush the game out but given the time limit I think you've done a really good job. Well done :)

Thanks a lot! :)

Very fun gameplay & well made concept for the theme! :D

I'd say aiming could be improved, and if the shurikens could be controlled mid-air, the gameplay would feel even more amazing :)

With some more polish that game would look & feel so awesome! Congratz on this game!

I'd appreciate if you play and rate our game too, if not already done! :)

Interesting game to play. I like the short tutorial at the beginning with looking up. For my preferences, the camera should be a bit higher for player. The game was fun and really solid.

Thank you for the kind words! 😊

A great game, but the slow-mo particles don't look that good. And I feel like the game is too tough(Probably because I'm a noob). The assets used were great, but it felt kinda empty without props. And the reflections' source cant be traced. Other than that, it's a great game!
