In what way does your game fit the theme?
There are devices in the game that "rewind" time for certain objects.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. I ended up making everything myself, leaving less time for actual game design. Bad choice perhaps, but lots of experience gained!

Interesting game, definitely reminds me of flash games I used to play when I was younger haha. I was a bit confused why you could shoot the vines near the end but you couldn't shoot the vine near the beginning and had to use the crane and a box instead? Also if you could keep the music running throughout each scene (rather than replaying it from the beginning each time you go through the elevator) and that would be a lot nicer!
Nice job :)
This was because I just didn't have time to implement my initial idea for the level. Thanks for the 20th rate!
Ah okay that's why then haha. Congrats on the 20th rate!! :D
Short but sweet! It really reminds me of old point and click adventure flash games! The animations of the player walking work really well with the physical movement of the character. Overall I had fun playing it and I hope you have time to add some more levels and polish. Nice submission!
Good game! well done. I want the game to be longer :D nice dialogues, levels are well designed, and nice character's animations and graphics. Did you do everything in your own? Good luck ;)
I liked the visual and animation, but at the same time, I think the animation to draw the device is too long. Good dialogs too
Short and simple "Point and click" adventure (I know it's not point and click, but it has that kind of feeling to me) Nice animations. Good job
I loved it , an interesting game I was stuck at the second level for a bit on the vines , then I read the instruction and was AAAH , I liked the character design .
good job !!
Nice and short game! I like it! Easy to test. Everything runs smooth. Nice implementation of the rewind mechanic and interesting story about the machine at the end.
After the Jam ends, you can improve and add more story, levels and puzzles.
Good job! Congratulations!
Please if you have time, check mine ;)
Hey nice game! I really liked the story and the artwork also looks great. I wish there was some more gameplay but I definitely enjoyed it a lot!
The text that pops up at the end after the story gets cut by the screen, but I assume it's nothing too important. This is a game I'd play again if you updated it and had more gameplay. Well done, keep it up!
Also I'd really appreciate if you could check out my game and leave a rating :)
Thank you so much! Indeed, I might release an updated version some time.
Couldn't figure out how to get past the second vine with the box :/
Otherwise, I actually really like the audio and the writing is just the right amount, not getting in the way and providing some context.
I like the pixel art and the running animation as well.
Let me tell you, you were supposed to shoot the crane, and in case it didn't work you experienced a bug. Those animations and art assets probably took up most of my time, which was perhaps a mistake though they did end up looking quite nice. I'm actually surprised that you liked the music as I made the song and implemented it in about 30 minutes. Lmao
I liked how the music sets the tense ambience in this game. I felt very confused in how use the rewind machine and tried many times to activate in the last part. With more time you can polish the visuals and the character design. More sections for this game would be cool too.
Hope you continue to develop games! Great work!
I'm flattered that you appreciate what I made in 20 minutes at midnight in Bosca Ceoil. Indeed more levels would be fun, and that was my plan. I had planned for interesting "puzzles" and extensive details, but silly me - I could never finish all those things myself in a week.
Great game, unique idea but music is not so good and at the end the shake screen cause motion sickness!
But still, good job!
i thought the game was okay, i felt that the level design was a bit boring and there wasn't much going on in each level, i think you could have tried to implement using your rewind mechanic in different and changeling ways to keep players a bit more engaged and also make the layout more interesting and maybe adding the ability to jump as well, the text size was also definitely too small and easy to miss during playing the game, other than that good work
This was my plan, but work on art assets and mechanics took too much time, forcing me to simplify the levels, and decreasing the amount.
Fun story. Text size was a bit of an issue being too small or way too big. It would be nice if the music didn't restart after going through a door. Like the angle though. Thanks for the game!
i really liked how you implemented the rewind, and the idea of the game. good job!
*maybe you would also like to play my submission*
Pretty impressed with the mechanics overall, just wished the game was a tiny bit longer ^^ Creative idea to utilize the jam theme like this!! Neat :)
The character animation is really good. and it was fun to explore the floors. You should keep working on it! Congrats on successfully submitting a game to the jam and I hope you learned a lot of new things. Please check out my game when you have time :D
Many thanks. I think I ended up with a neat game and I might indeed finish it. I had planned a lot of fun mechance, but... The time disappeared.
Great Game, needs more polish and Levels
indeed it does. Thanks for the feedback!
