In what way does your game fit the theme?
It rewinds time to 1930s where you play as a mouse fighting its way to victory.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything is self made, music is made by an amazing teammate/music producer.

Love the music but I think the sound design has a lot of room for improvement beside some tweaks for camera offset and more particle effects!

Good job.

I think more sounds are needed to give you information about the game. When you hit, when they hit you... Taking away that, good game.

Nice music! :)

I think you really did a great job in providing the atmosphere you want to see in such a game, being the music or the cute drawn graphics. Unfortunately though, I couldn't finish your game as it's just waayyy to hard (at least for a normal player like me). At some points it just really annoyed me, like: WHY ARE THERE 10 MILLION ENEMIES IN FRONT OF ME, AS WELL AS BEHIND ME. That is not necessarily a bad thing, and I'm sure there are players who really like that idea, but for me personally, it's just too unpredictable. Nonetheless, you really did a great job with this one, it fits the theme very well and looks just amazing, so: good job and keep it up!

Thank you very much. Lack of time didnt let me playtest or i would have fixed the ammount of enemies spawned. I will fix that in the later update though. Thanks again for such great comment.

Ok, As someone who beated games like Cuphead or Spelunky with 100% achievements, I love this kind of challenges. Your game is up to the task. Reeeeally hard, sometimes even unfair, but after some practice I manage to reach the boss second phase. Problem here is... he NEVER dies. I mean, I been shooting at him for 2 completely song loops, and the Son of... keeps attacking with the roots. i even try to shoot the roots, nothing happens, try to go to the upper platforms, instantly died. I was for over a complete hour trying to beat him, but no luck. Even manage to reach him with 3 lives! But in vain.
Apart from this, you made a GREAT work. Of course, always room for improvements (as other comments mention) but for a week game I think your game is one of the best in the jam.
The Art is AMAZING, the controls respond very accurate. I'm not completely ok with the mouse aiming, at least for this game, but maybe you manage to make it work in a fun way after the jam ends.

Very good job! Congratulations!

Please check mine if you can 😁

Thank you very much. You were the first person telling me how far you got. I didnt implement enemy feedback which would have helped quite a lot. Id make it so much better for future and will add controller support which will feel much better than the current mouse. Thanks again i appreciate you!

Nice graphics, the game is quite hard to play .. the skeletron head always kill me. Some SFX could give a little more atmosphere.

Good Job.

My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks
