Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Only Code I made by myself. All other assets, text font, visual and audio, is from other people where the where credits in main menu of the game.

The idea is simple and fun, but I will say it's too easy. The part of the story I saw, was good and interesting, I did skip some of the story because skipping used the same key as the shooting uses. But overall is this a pretty good jam game.
I would also have liked if you have tried to make some of the art assets and sounds.
nice game :D I enjoyed playing, and the intense parts of gameplay made it very rewarding to beat the game >:3

It's a really nice game. The core gameplay is really solid, it's easy to understand simple to play.
I've finished the game and I really enjoy my session.
2 points that may be improved is :
-Movement, at some point there's no real challenge to move, just stay at the bottom and just go left and right. It would have been nice to have things that force you to move and put yourself in more dangerous positions
-Enemies, maybe a different pattern to create more challenge.
It was really fun, really great ideas and I've rated it :)

i like the game but the problem is that you fire very slow and it was pretty intense for day 2. otherwise great game

It is in my opinion a good concept that the ships combined to protect the main ship. It is much fun to play. The sounds arent so good and the graphics are okay but all in all a good game :)
