In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have to Collect your crew to Defeat the Boss and Use the Portal to win. Each crew member unlocks new abilities (more health from healthpack, a boost, turret etc).

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes with the help of some great tutorials, ofcourse. All art was HandDrawn (on Krita)

The visuals were solid but there was no soundFX or music. There was also a lack of direction for the player. I think the main issue was the game just wasn't completed. The main core mechanic needed focus and I think this would have really benefitted the devs.

Great art style! I really like the big white outlines, works well. One improvement I will do is add invisible walls to block players from entering zone where the camera won't follow the ship. It was confusing at first seeing was ship disappear. Otherwise, I like the exploration aspect.

Really Cool Art Style! Just with some sounds and animations, it could be more nice but I guess you were short on time so that may have been the issue. Overall Great Design, Good Job

Superb art style! Loved the game) I think that after the gamejam you should improve this game a little bit, as below said, add some sounds and maybe animations. Also, I think, the controls seems to be a little bit weird at first!

Anyway, well done! Hope you had fun at this gamejam <3

Really good art style, I love this! I think you can upgrade this game after the jam ends, add some sounds, smoother tutorial, and so on) With those arts, you can add a good storyline!

The art style is super cool! The outline of the assets looks great, I love it! plus the characters look interesting, maybe add some dialogues and a story for the game? :D

The idea of the game is great! It needs some polish, but you are going on the right way, the game has a lot of potential, congrats! :)

We wanted to do that and prob wil release a more pollished version later (also with clearer instructions and dialouge boxes for the different pilots, have them talk and so on). Thx for the feedback! (glad you liked it) :D

Wasnt rly clear with the explenation, you can use your spacebar, shift and mouseclick only when youv rescued the right pilots.

The hand drawn art looks great! I would definitely recommend a tutorial on controls but other than that the game looks very unique!

To win you need to collect all your crew and go back to the SpawningArea (there is a portal there)

Also, you need to return to the start when you have your crew assembled (the portal there takes you and your crew to safety).

You can Destroy round Prison with your rockets (you get them from box prison and use spacebar). Triange is keyLocked. box is Turretdestroy (click).
