In what way does your game fit the theme?
With the theme chaos I thought it would be a good challenge to make a puzzle game. Both the aesthetic - pirates - and the solutions fit the theme. The movement of the cannonballs and the explosions that result from a correct solution are chaotic.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all of the code and created most of the art assets throughout the duration of the jam. None of the audio was created by me.

Really really fun game. Had some eureka moments there. I love how you designed each puzzle making it a very balanced difficulty curve for each level. Love the idea of bouncing canon Balls. It just bugged me a tiny bit that it does not fit the theme, but as a game it's a solid game, very enjoyable and I hope you will add some necessary features and most importantly more levels once the jam ends.
Great game, really like the gameplay. Would be nice if we could reposition the barrel and shield, but the reset does it for now.
Basicly very good game, interesting idea.

What was bad is that you should explain, that when the ball hits the back of a tile it will just get destroyed. Also, the "R" key should be explained in the first level or always visible on screen as a hint.
But a solid game design and nice graphics, it's agame, good job!
Enjoyed the game very much. Got stuck on the level after the shield was introduced. Cannonballs wouldn't split anymore but may have been user error on my part. Great game, I'd like to play more of it
I like the 3d aesthetic however, I am very confused and it wont let me shoot more than once
This game is a really cool puzzle game, that dont really fit the theme, since the game is about having control.
Anyways my positives are that it is really fun to play, struggled on some of them and got the "aha!" moment when I solved the puzzle. great sprites for the game and really good music to fit the game.
The thing I would have done different "not that I am any good at coding".
1. I found a minimal bug that after you have placed a barrel you cant remove it, I think you were going for something like that since I got back my rotation after placing a barrel on it.
2. Level select, I tried to do one of the later levels to see it I could have done any different, but it was a bit sad that I had to go through it all just to try that one level again.
3. Volume control, I got sound on a pretty low level on all programs since I have a sensitive hearing, so a volume control is almost a must for me. (mostly just to hear the music better and to lower the sharp sounds)
This was actually really fun to play, interesting idea, really makes you think.
I don't exactly see how it fits the theme other than with the name BUT I LOVED IT
I would keep playing it until finish, but there's a bug where a cannonball would go through a tile and not split even though the swords show up anyway.
I love these kinds of puzzle games especially when enhanced with great visuals like these, a good soundtrack, and nice satisfying sound effects!
This is really cool feedback thanks, could you tell me what level/tile the bug appeared on. Also just in case it was user error you can always look at the solution video below if you wanna play any more. The chaos element does really only fit the last 5 or so levels when the board is much bigger and there are multiple cannons. Either way I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
The bug happens on a set broken tile no matter how many times I restart it, I CAN still finish the level by using other tiles and approaches but it kinda feels eh to follow a set strategy and not experiment.
I think the second level, the second tile you flip does the bug, however, the tile behind it works just fine.
Same thing for the level where the ally ship is first introduced, I tried my own strategy on it and it didn't work because the cannonball went right through a tile.
I'll watch your video and hopefully finish the game soon! I love the concept and I don't think I've seen anything like it before.

really cool concept it is very fun to play.
But I don't see how it does fit the theme.
Everything follows fixed rules so the cannonballs splitting aren't really chaotic.
The UI is quite clean, so no chaoticness here and while pirate battles, as displayed in Pirates of the Caribbean, are chaotic in this case it is not.
It is very cool, I like the art stile and how the barrel and the shild gives the game so much strategie. nothing to hate.
It's such an original concept. I would like it to be a little more chaotic but I be playing it more for sure. Good job
