In what way does your game fit the theme?
During the gameplay a LOT of chaos is created by incomming new gems and self-creating jewelry.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made the code by myself, and made most of the assets, except for 2 textures and all the sound and music, sources listed in the README.txt.

Came here after you rated my game and I'm glad I did. I loved the idea, the totally very friendly indeed messages from Management and the overall chaos. Great job! :D

Thank you, this really means a lot to me :)

absolutely crazy!! a billion gems spawning and bouncing really make chaos XD had some problems with dropping the gems, but i guess its not that bad, but the game is simple, and fun! i say good job overall

please be sure to rate our game as well <3

Cool idea, had a lot of fun with it! The physics can make it a bit hard to place things where you want but it just adds to the chaos. I had some trouble dropping the jewelry into the buckets due to the camera angle and the distance. Maybe a shadow or something below the jewelry could be used to show where it is going to land? Anyways, good work!

I think there is some collider on the hand causing bugs. They should just fall down.

Thank you for playing and for the comment:)

Good Idea! It's the real chaos when there are many gems on the table XD

I enjoyed it :D

Nice and simple game.

Nice and simple game. The controls are right on point. Grab and release the gems feel good.

The gameplay also fits the theme.

Nice choice of music! Well done!

Nice game! The bouncing gems really fit the theme,  it was a bit hard to calculate the right moment to drop the rings to the crates but it was part of the fun. The music selection was really good. Very good job!

Great stuff, I would love to see this further developed, as I had problems dropping anything in the crates. I had a few gos, and only managed to drop it in the crates a few times, was I meant to drop the jewels into the crates?  I felt it was a bit fiddley, but it was a great start. Good stuff, I'd love to hear your thoughts on my entry.

Hey! Have given you a rating.  Well done for completing the jam.

I couldnt seem to get the pearls to work, and I really need to learn to read instructions, but it was fun!  Nice job!

Developer

I know what you mean about the pearls, there seems to be some kind of physics bug:(

Submitted(+1)

Not sure what physics was applied to the gems but chaos certainly was had!

Submitted

Even thought seems to get chaotic pretty soon in the game, the music kept me pretty chill, I had to redo the second level couple times because its hard to understand visually which gem fits on which ring, (not sure how to solve the problem) I also felt the camera could follow you better to make sure you are able to pickup jewels and drop the rings more easily (this might a conscious design choice).

Overall a good entry to the jam, fits the thematic like a perfect ruby ring ;)

Developer (1 edit)

If you want to know, I've noticed the problem with fitting in the "playtesting" stage, which was like 2h to deadline :D
And I decided that some other bug, that was gamebreaking, was more important :D
I feel I need to work in team in the next jam...

Thank you for your review!

A really fun game ^^ It took me a while to figure out how to assemble the pearls x) But the game gives a lot of leeway x) I loved to push the gems all around the place x)

I think adding more weight to the gems would improve the game though. They all feel kinda floaty.

Developer(+1)

I think their physical weight is small, and their size is big, that makes them behave strange.
Well, that's game jams for you, too much to do, not enough time.
You can say that about life as well...

Thank you very much for the review!

Cool game with nice concept, although physics are not polished, so it is hard to place rings to boxes.

Developer(+1)

Yes, physics are all over the place, as someone described :D
Thank you!

Submitted(+1)

Realy a fun game. The physiks were all over the place and I had trouble completing some of the levels... But I guess that fits the theme

really fun idea! the camera was a mess and the physics were pretty janky at times but i really liked concept behind the game. kinda brought me back to when i used to watch 3 random games by pewdiepie in 2014 lmao. controls are easy to get used to, however depth perception was a bit weird (it felt like things were falling kinda slowly). also i love how you made the project open source, thats always a plus on my book! good job!

Very cool! Nice mechanics! Reminds me of the hand in the Black & White games :D

Developer

The idea in my head was completely different, and i made a series of changes that made it pretty similar to B&W hand :) I was surprised myself:P

pretty cool man, keep it up!
