In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game takes place during an intergalactic prison riot. After the first few waves of enemies it quickly turns into a bullet hell and the scene becomes chaotic.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We made everything from scratch except of the sound effects and the keyboard layout buttons at the start of the game.

Very fun game, nice graphics and animations. I really like the ugrades and how later you just cover every room with bullets.
I think I made it to around wave 30 when the game crashed :p
Thanks for playing our game! Yes we found out too that the game crashes in level 30 if you are playing it on browser xd If you'd like to continue playing you can download the game and it won't have the same problem.
People already said it but I would not have been surprised if this was on steam or another platform as a small game!

If anything, I think you would gain adding somewhere in the menu a way to change the difficulty, for new player to keep this pacing (which is nice!) and strong players to have a harder version.
Also... A pause menu, on pressing escape... I think this one is almost mandatory haha, could not find it and could not keep my strike when I had to leave the game for a bit.

Wow! Thank you for your feedback! Having a way to change the difficulty will be a great addition to the game. Also sorry for the frustration when searching for the pause button. We chose the p button because when playing on a browser the escape key takes you out of fullscreen mode :P We are happy you liked our game!

I thought all the game mechanics were really solid and satisfying. I really liked the upgrade mechanic where you had to run around like a chicken with its head cut off for a while.
I don't want to beat a dead horse but the pacing was pretty brutal, between gold accumulation and enemy difficulty ramping everything just took a bit too long.
That said I'm really impressed with the quality and polish that exists on this game and am super impressed. Well done!

One of the best submissions so far. Everything about the game feels polished and well made, and the game itself is really fun to play. I feel like with a little more work this could well be an indie title on steam. I managed to reach the 14th wave, before it became a bit too hard for me, but it was a blast

Cool game, loved the graphics, the pacing was a bit too slow for me, but the concept was good. especially liked that it slowed down near the shop without pausing completely, gave you time to think while still keeping you on your toes.

controlled really nicely. Art and sound was good. Clear layout that was easy to read and understand what was going on. And shooting robots! :D

One of the greatest games I played in the jam. I love the small details, like the other prisoners' holding Pringles. The difficulty curve is also well done.

This game is really well done. I really liked the small details such as some of the cellmates having healing items. Also I really liked the creative menu.

Really fun game. Love that you have to drop the weapon off and then survive withuot it to get the upgrades. Also really like that you can push objects around to save yourself. You really did a great job here

The time slowing down for the menu was a Cool Choice
The grabbing items and use them as cover was a cool mechanic i enjoyed which felt tactical to me

Slowing down the world allows for constant tension that I am still vulnerable to threats.

Cool character design and sound effects. Controls work well, and the game gets indeed chaotic after a while. I had some trouble understanding what to do at first, but after I got the hang of it, especially with moving objects, it was a lot of fun.
