Good game! good job!
Really awesome game with alot of potential, just has small things like clipping issues but otherwise amazing for only a week worth of dev time.
Anime sword dash as a cowboy just feels right.
The camera being fixed above the player wasn't my favorite thing (I think a third person view with unlocked horizontal movement would have been nice) but I still enjoyed it! Managed to get to the boss but couldn't get him (yet)
Neat take on the theme and cool visuals. Did find it hard to tell when i was going to die but it was still fun to play :)
I spent too long playing this game not to give it a high rating, however there definitely are some frustrating things about it.
It is super difficult to use the main dash to kill without getting killed, and I think that's the more fun option of the two types of weapons. The way to win at the game is to sit back and aim as many throwing knives as you can on their long cooldown while there is a crazy amount of goons per wave. Pray that you can make it to the fan knife and even then there are too many of them and too many snaptraps for me to make it to the final boss.
I tried my best to get there to test him out, think my highest kill count was 102.
It's a fun game, lots of jank but the core of the game is fun. The graphics, sound, and all that are fine. Just needs gameplay polish.
I liked the game, animations and 3D were very nice! It was a bit janky however to control the main character.
The inro was really cool I had some problems with collisions though

Cutscenes (and main menu transaction) were great! At first I though I could just slash away those pesky cowboys but oh boy I was wrong. Fun game but it's also pretty hard. I would like to tell you few suggestions though. First level cutscene, maybe just show it once or add skip button. After 10th death I didn't want to wait for cutscene to be over to slash away. Also when I run backwards I can't see much, so it's very easy to get killed. But nonetheless nice game :)

Really nice job with the cinematics! The asset cohesion was really solid, and the gameplay was pretty fun. One thing I will note is that the one-hit death for the player was definitely a bit brutal, especially when enemies have no telegraphing and can instantly spawn in hard-to-see areas. But I still enjoyed the game, and having some upgrades to customize the playstyle was a nice touch. Great work!
Thanks for the feedback! We wanted the one-hit-kill since we felt it went with the theme. Agree with you as far as the telegraphing and spawning go. Just not enough time for all the tweaks we'd have liked to make. That's the way these go haha.

Thanks! We were pretty happy with the intro haha. About 90% of the models were custom-made, and a few were grabbed from the unity asset. Animations were created with the help of Adobe Mixamo, very nice resource for a game jam!
