Hey,

This was pretty unique and fun. I love the whole paranoid / news photographer aspect to it lol

The graphics were spot on. Nice job with those. The music very  nice and it played beautifully.

Nice work :)

Please can you vote my game on the last day before the jam ends? Thank you :D

Hey!

First of all, congrats for finishing the game! It was a lot of fun looking around for that frog, really cool. It was pretty hard at first but I managed to find it. The music was really nice, I enjoyed it!

If you want some feedback, here's mine: I think the camera moves too slow when using the arrows, it was hard to keep a character on focus. Other than that, the game was really fun, you did an amazing job with everything!

It would be really awesome to have you playing my game too, if you don't mind of course. ^_^

That was an innovative concept. Nice work!

I was stuck on the first level for so long because I didn't read the instructions carefully (e.g. the Loveland Frog Man can only have 3 of the 6 traits).

But once I got the hang of it, everything just felt natural. Camera motions didn't give me motion sickness and were smooth af. The music/settings update when you progress further into the game / take a while was **chef's kiss**. Plus cryptids are cool and frogman is even better. AND THE POLISH?!?! Ugh, you folks are so cool.

Easily, my favorite game of the game jam so far. I'm definitely recommending this for my friends to play.

Wow. The background music... Just wow!

Amazing game over all 5/5.

But I LOVED the bgm! My fav bgm in this game jam so far.

The music literally made me not rage-quit the game lol.

I mean I still rage-quit on the 4th level cuz I was stuck for soooo looooong!

I'm kinda sad that I didn't get to listen to the rest of the soundtracks (if there is any).

And sad that I beat the 3rd level so fast I didn't get to listen to the full soundtrack lol.

Anyways, fantastic job. Well done, everyone!

Thank you so much!  That means a lot to me. :) Really glad you enjoyed the game and the music!

Yeah very well done to everyone!

Btw, could you please provide a link for the game's soundtracks, if possible?

This feels very polished! I love everything about it! Especially, the art and the details you put into the world. I really like how the lighting changes as you get higher points, making it harder to see. Subtle level design there. One note of criticism could be it's pretty hard to see what the traits look like in game. I got up to 6 and I'm not sure if I saw red eyes, long tongue, or the pin. It's certainly very addictive, and I enjoyed playing it.

Jamming music and super cute characters, great stuff

I loved Where's Waldo as a kid, so this was right up my alley! The details of the word were great - felt lived in!

Interesting idea for a game. Its like Where's Waldo with frogs. Would be interesting to see this further developed.

Great idea and really good implementation! Particularly the programming of the people--the people's algorithms felt very realistic. It looks like you procedurally generated the models, maybe? If so, very nicely done. I really did find this addictive; I just wish the frog showed up a little more often because finding him did get frustrating sometimes.

Developer

Thank you so much! I can't take too much credit for the pathing of the people, I was mostly using Unity's NavMesh system, setting rules on the sidewalk vs roads so people don't walk around everywhere. And you're right, when a person spawns, a bunch of rolls are made for which accessories are enabled and random colours are assigned (within a specific colour palette). We do the same for the frog where it only has 3 of the 6 possible traits, so sometimes he's harder to spot if his skin doesn't end up green (we were concerned if he always had green skin it'd be too easy to spot him every time). I really appreciate the feedback though, I'm glad you enjoyed your time playing our game!

great game! It was fun and I like how time of day changes and more people come out. It's like a procedural where's waldo. I also like the variety in the people. It's fun to watch them walk around. Nice music, too. And bonus points for doggos :D

Very cool game! Love the win screen image as well!! I definitely was fooled by the frog hat wear-ers a few times

Very neat little game ! Looks amazing <3

I loved how the game is simple :)

The music is lovely if it's just for the main menu, the frog sketch is amazing.

day/night cycle I thought it gonna make it harder but it's not. Because you already know his shape, but first time it was hard to spot.

Check out our game if you can

i love this!!
the frogs pretty tough to spot but the music being such a bap and the day/night cycle making the world feel like its progressing keep me going, i wanna find the frog again!! this frog will not be left alone as long as im around to find them!!

great job on this game!

Hahahaha thanks for such an enthusiastic review, this is exactly what we were going for! I'm so glad you're enjoying the game! 🐸📸💖

This is well done! The UI is adorable, I love the notes and pictures! It was bit difficult to find frog man mainly cause the world might be too small. I wouldn't want it to be super easy but maybe a smidge bigger because they are also moving and eye color and the tongue were the things to look out for and that was a little hard to see. I actually just mis-clicked and it so happened to have the frogman in frame.

The music is also catchy in a good way and made the tone very fun.

This is a really enjoyable game.. played it for way longer than I'd like to admit lol. It can be a bit laggy, but that's the only downside. Oh, and I absolutely loved the music!

Developer(+1)

That's amazing to hear! Our goal was to make a game you can just chill with, I'm glad you enjoyed your time with it. As for the lag, unfortunately I think we hit some limits with the Web build, the Windows build runs a lot smoother!

I enjoyed it, though I agree with everyone else, it's very had to find the frog man!

I had fun though. It's a very creative concept with cute music and art style, so it's enjoyable even if it takes a while to find him.
