How does you game fit the theme?
Reality can be very subjective, the fear and imagination of a child can render the mundane horrific, monsters real. Confidence can erase them.
On his way back from fetching a bottle of wine in the cellar, the child is scared by the sudden darkness and quickly imagines his worst fears. The Walkman he chances upon is his only way to escape his nightmares and return to the entrance of the cellar.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We wrote all the code from scratch and used some fx assets, which are all mixed and edited (credited on the game's page) as well as our own.

Really awesome use of audio middleware. If i were picky I would say the fantasy main theme didn't really fit the vibe but it was really well done

The game is really nice, the mechanics are already seen but still well studied and the story is quite interesting. In the future it would be interesting to extend the story as the end has quite a potential.

Thank you for you feedback!

Of course we don't have to reinvent the wheel. but we tried to make it's usage as unique as possible. Yes we will see if we find good ideas to enrich the story in the future :)

Amazing game! Really loved the mechanic with the music both from a personal and thematic view. The team must've had much experience working together, great job!

Good atmosphere, and finding places to manually rewind the tape is very fun. Good work!

I'm always amazed what people come up with. great work!

love the art style, the mechanics, story and the atmosphere. I'd personally increase the speed of the character, and there are also some input mappings that might be wrong ("Press A to jump" on PC)

Developer

Thanks for playing! Press A is for gamepad, but it's maybe unclear, we wrote something like "Press space (A) to jump".

Best game of the jam I've played so far. Love it.

That's one giant cellar! I had a lot of fun playing it. The idea of having to rewind the music gave it a challenge, and how the song played for a limited time as well! The art and music was amazing, nice game!

Developer

We didn't have time to explain it but in fact the cellar size is regular and it's the child mind that deform it with hole and platforms :)

Thanks for playing! I am glad you enjoy playing our games :)

Beautiful and exiting storyline to follow, especially the plot in the end was something I really enjoyed. Also the mechanic timing when to play and rewind the tape was a cool idea! Great job.
