Developer

Thank you!

the art looks good but the gameplay is a little simple, maybe some power-ups or something would be good.

Really great take on the theme! Loved playing the game,  really simple and fun top down shooter with a twist on teleportation!

Art looks great!

Art is insanely good

Really good. I was waiting to find those complex and imaginary number related games, wasn't exactly expecting that but I certainly wasn't disappointed.

Once I understood what the theme was by reading a little bit about complex numbers this started to make a lot more sense. You did a really good job with this, it feels super good to teleport and shoot. The music is really good and the screen effects make it feel very intense. I love the art for it, its simple but really effective. I also love how your rate of fire is just how fast you can click, it makes it feel super intense. Overall a fantastic game!

Developer

Wow, thanks a lot! My goal with this game was for it to feel good to shoot enemies and teleport around. I'm glad that I succeeded for at least one person! I'll make sure to check out your game as well!

Really good concept of game and that art is awesome. Just teleporting some time didn't make sense.

Developer

Thank you! The teleportation is a 90 degree turn counter-clockwise, and it sometimes doesnt work because you try to teleport into a wall. I'll make sure to check out your game as well

i really like the pixel art. i would have never thought of imaginary numbers for this theme (probs cuz i dont liek math XD)

Thank you so much! The idea for complex (imaginary) numbers came like 3 days before the deadline so I almost didn't think of them too lol.

I'll make sure to check your game out as well!

The graphics and audio were great! I didn't quite understand how this game fits the theme but it was still very good!

Developer

Thanks a lot! It fits the theme because complex numbers were used. They consist of two parts. One real, and one imaginary (see where I'm going?). You can put a complex number in something called the complex plane, and instead of x and y, you have the real and imaginary axis. One property of complex numbers is that if you multiply the whole thing with i, you rotate 90 degrees around the center point.

Oh ok. No I get it. Please go test my game too!

Developer

Will do!

The Graphics and the Lore (in combination with the gameplay) is just awesome. I also liked the background music (but some sounds where actually exhausting). Nonetheless great game!

Developer

Thank you! I agree that the music may have been a little too much and the sounds could have been randomized in pitch a little bit. I'll make sure to check your game out!

Pretty cool, but are the enemies supposed to be going through the walls?

Developer(+1)

Yeah, it was mostly because I didn't have time to program a pathfinding algortihm or something, and I wanted the enemies to have acces to the player at all times, while there being some obstacles to restrict movement.

I'll make sure to check your game out!
