How does you game fit the theme?
*DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SPOIL THE ENDING*
Once you complete the game it is revealed that all of it was a VR simulation.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Some of the sound/music I didn't make but I made everything else.

Nice game i love the idea i gonne rate can you do that for me to?
sure!
Fun game! Couldn't figure out how reloading worked, but I was able to beat it
Thank you!
A fun and challenging game! Nice work on the graphics as well. Excellent work overall :)
Thank you!
Pretty fun game, got my heart racing in the end when I had to escape. One thing is I just noticed from other comments, is that there was a reload button? I had no idea, I finished it without reloading, and to be honest I really liked it that way. I don't know if that's what you were going for, but I really liked that I had limited bullets and couldn't reload. That meant that I had to be more strategic and stealthy instead or a standard run in guns blazing firefight, like most games. Maybe it's something to think about, at least as a separate game mode or something.
The only slight complain that I have, is that the sound of the enemies shooting you continues when you die, until you respawn, which is pretty uncomfortable, especially with this particular sound effect and no volume options.
Other than that, haven't encountered any bugs and had a fun time!
Also, if you have time, I would love to hear your thoughts on our game as well :D
Thanks for all the feedback and advice. I actually forgot to put the reload button in the tutorial. But I also feel that it makes for a more stealthy experience. Thank you and I will rate your game.
Very well cured in the details, the arts is neat and enjoyable. Game play is easy to understand and funny. Well done! Please rate our game too if you can!
Good luck!
Thank you for the feedback!.
It was super fun racing back out after planting the bomb but it was a bit frustrating trying to infiltrate. Enemies seemed to notice me before they were on screen so it was annoying getting shot at while I couldn't tell exactly where to shoot back without running towards them. Also it would've been nice to know how reloading works beforehand. At first I didn't even know I could reload and thought I didn't have enough bullets to get into firefights and even after finding that I do reload I wasn't sure if there was a way to trigger it or if it just happened after a certain period of time. But despite my complaints I still had fun overall!
Thanks for the feedback!
That was fun! It would be nice to see an indicator or play a sound when I hit the reload button, just to confirm that I'm really reloading!
yeah, some other people have said that and I'm sorry that I didn't think of that.
really fun game play!
Thank you so much!
The game was quite difficult but really fun. Really liked it :)
Thank you so much!
The game is pretty cool, a little bit hard for me but I can't say it was bad. Some more work on the theme and the gameplay will be great but overall, very good job!
I would love to have you playing mine too, if you don't mind of course! ^_^
Thank you for the kind words. I would be happy to rate your game
I really liked the gameplay loop of this game! it was interesting how when you first start playing you have to be cautious of looking around the corners but once you plant the bomb you have to remember the correct way back. Cool submission!
Thank you so much!
really cool game(a bit hard tho)
Thank you for the feedback. I would like to improve it after the rating period is over. But for now, I just want to get to 20+ ratings.
Cool game! "Once you complete the game it is revealed that all of it was a VR simulation." This kinda spoiled the ending but enjoyed it anyways :)
Yeah, I didn't know how to explain it without revealing the ending. Glad you enjoyed it though.
Rated !!! I could use some help, would you rate mine too?, Thanks!
here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1415313
Sure!
This game is actually really fun to play, and I love the graphics!
Though I feel like the enemies have an advantage over you because its hard to peek and shoot at them
and their accuracy is pretty good.
if there is a reload button would be a great idea to communicate that to the player, like the first time they run out of bullets show a message with the button they need to press to reload. However, if having limited ammo is part of the stealthy nature of the game, than that's cool.
It would be nice to be able spot enemies before they spot you. It's a game of chance at this point as to whether they are facing you and therefore shooting you before you're able to see them.
All in all I would like to see this game developed further, with some polish I think it will be quite fun.
Thanks for the feedback!
Cool game, a little hard tho and doesn't really fit the theme
Did you get to the end of the game?
No, it was too hard :(
sorry about that.
I really liked the gameplay, the right-click focus was a nice option for the stealth-kill genre.
The first improvement area that comes into mind is the UI, it could use a lot more love. Also, I always ended up running out of ammo even when I went easy with the shots. Is there an option to reload or pick up bullets?
Overall, the idea is very nice, I would love to see a more polished version later.
thanks!
Hey we did something similar in my game if you would check it out. The part where you had to escape was intense. Would have liked more queues to know where my bullets are going and a reload sound to know if it's doing something or maybe just a quicker reload.
Thanks for playing and the feedback, I also have rated your game.
