Such a cool game! I really don't have a lot to criticize, the only thing is, that the text at the beginning was a little bit too much, all the other things were really good, especially the art caught my eye :)
Yes, we can understand how that's an issue. We tried to kind of goof on that with the belligerent narrator, but could also be nice to (after a while) have a button that's just like "screw this I don't like rules" or something to bypass it all.
Love the artwork! Everything is so polished and the game gives me a lot of nostalgia. The way the theme is Mall cop with a touch of Luigi's mansion was great.
I was really glad to have the opportunity to see the development and help what little bit I could!
You managed to subvert my expectations for a game that contains ghosts (even if they are not real). I thought that bumping into a ghost would decrease my sanity, but I got a more relaxing type of game where I just have to run around and point my flashlight at ghosts. It was a refreshing experience after all those horror submissions I tried out. :)
The core gameplay itself could use some more depth to stay interesting, but I really liked the visual style and the audio, the whole atmosphere was consistent and lovely.

Thank you so much! I was personally a big fan of your submission for the goofs, so I am glad you enjoyed our game as well. If we go into further development, we would definitely add in some more features. For now, you can try out the "hard" mode which you can switch to in the pause menu for a quicker gameplay :)

The pixel animations are so gooood!! Very nice looking game. I just wish it felt a bit more challenging or maybe a touch bit more scary/urgent. Otherwise super nice work!
If you want, go into the pause menu and hit the hard difficulty setting. The game mode defaults to easy so that people can see the win screen, however, I like to play on hard :))
The game is really nice,
The intro sequence is funny, the scene transitions are really good.
The gameplay is nice, but a bit repetitive when there aren't many consequences.
the music is nice and the art is really good.
A lot of potential in making this a full-blown horror game with the right lighting, camera positions and jumpscares😂

Cool! I like the vibe the game gives, the art is great and the concept is smart. Maybe make the camera move a bit to where the player is looking? Nice job!

Great artwork and animations, really like the aesthetic. The between-store animation is great! The store lights coming on to indicate the store is cleared was a clever and intuitive mechanic, as are several others -- you made the game intuitive and easy to play. One potential adjustment might be to have the camera lead in the direction the player is facing/walking, rather than trail. Great work!

I love how the game feels, the monsters look funny and scary at the same time, I also found a Nintendo switch in the game! Overall I enjoyed the game, fantastic work!
