How does you game fit the theme?
The player is part of an adventure where nothing is as it looks like and the forest where he will try to find out the castle where a princess is kept prisoner is full of enemies hidden behind apparent real vegetation.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Most of the assets are made by King Peng Studio, we then used the More Mountain engine framework and some graphic assets own by the studio and purchased from Game Dev Market.

Cool game with nice aesthetic! I seemed to consistently run into an issue after I beat the princess and tried to talk to the tree in the top left I would glitch out anytime I got near him and enter a black void so I don't know how to end it.
Really enjoy playing this game !
Thank you so much!

Simple but fun game, the sound design and music are really nice, and I really liked the feel of the shotgun. the recoil and sound together make it really satisfying to use and it seems balanced, strong against one enemy, but it gets difficult quickly when you're surrounded (also not sure if there aren't any other weapons or I just didn't find them, tutorial says "weapons" as in more than one).
However I found a couple of bugs, first of all when you just go towards the upper left corner of the map, at some point you just get stuck in a black void for no reason. Same thing also happened when restarting the level for me. Another thing is inside the castle, if you don't close the dialog box quickly enough, the princes will attack you and knock you away from the dialog box, which makes it impossible to either close it or move/attack.
If you have time, I would love to hear your thoughts on our game as well :D

Thank you!
Love the unique art direction of the game, it felt very other-worldly. The music was very nice and it felt great to shoot the enemies. Great work!

Thank you and done, rated your game as well!
Congrats on your first game jam submission, quite challenging!
Thank you!
Very nice game. I really like the graphics of this game,. Good job. :)
Thank you!
Your game has a fun gameplay. Unfortunately, I couldn't interact with the A key (I think it is because of my AZERTY layout though). The music was very tense, and fitting but maybe a bit too loud for me personally. I really like the shooting animation!
Nice work!
Thanks for the feedback! The A key is a know problem, it should have been the space bar :-)
I liked the aesthetics of the game, and had some fun while playing it! Good work
Thank you for your review, I have also play/reviewed/rated your work!
Good game. Rated it! If possible do rate my game :)
Thank you and I have played/rated your game as well!
It's a nice take on the theme on a well working twin stick shooter foundation, even though I found it hard to move sometimes when enemies are close.
Thank you for having played the game!
A nice concept but it felt a bit overwhelming without really knowledge of what to do. Its sad that the dimensions went bad but with some HTML knowledge I came around that. So I played in fullscreen mode on the web.
But anyhow, it was a bit unclear what to do first. I got it figured out when I got smacked by the wasps(?), and died quiet fast but besides that, it is a interesting game. It might need more playtesting but its a good foundation for a great game!
Good work and keep it up!
Thank you for your feedback we will try to improve it!
I think I was missing some of the screen. I tried to full screen but that option was not available. I liked the art style of the trees though.
Thank you for the review and yes I did a disaster with the WebGL resolution, a real shame after the amount of time we had put into the project! Lesson learned for the future!
This game is nice but I don't understand what I have to do here
Also when I die and restart the level the weapon doesn't stay equipped and doesn't respawn. It took me a while to understand that I have to press 'I' to go the the inventory and equip it. One last thing, the web version is impossible to play because the resolution isn't the good one. You have to set the same resolution in itch.io as in unity (Project settings > Player > Resolution).
Hi thanks for the review! Where did you get that black screen?
Unfortunately I set the wrong resolution when I made the WebGL and you can't play well the game. There is a character on the right upper corner of the screen with a candle head, he is supposed to give you some heads up about the mission of the game and also he should explain how to get access to the inventory.
The black screen was when I went completely to the left. And the only head up I received was to press 'A'.
