How does you game fit the theme?
Something IS out to get you, and it certainly will. : ]
Unless...
No, it is not real, it cannot hurt you.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes Sir 99% :)

This could evolve into a strong point and click puzzle adventure game! The few levels I played seemed really well put-together.
It was difficult to figure out the objective in each level, especially since some items can be interacted with only in certain places, plus the text seems to vanish too soon sometimes. Consider fine-tuning the UI and interaction points a bit.
Weird game, has nice consistent art, and has good audio. Some of the selection felt a little buggy at times and I would click over and over trying to toggle the message off but it would keep toggling on. It was a great touch that the head rotated.
Oh this was nice playing through. The graphics are wonderful. Somehow the outlines were very satisfying. :) I didn't really get what was going on, though. But this didn't lower my fun at all. :)
Great use of assets, environmental puzzles, and implementation of the theme. Some way to view the current objective or inventory would help but is not necessary.
Really cool game, poor cat though :(. The graphics look good, I like that the players head rotates toward the mouse! I didn't really know what was going on with the character, but that just added to the disturbing vibe. My only issue was with the text being behind stuff or out of screen sometimes, but you already know about that :). Good job!
Very creepy but very fun. Great job! Would like to see more of this post-jam!
Very original from the games and mechanics I have played so far in this Jam.
Nice take on the psychological reality of things. I would recommend having the character thoughts in a dialog box to avoid having his ideas clipped through the objects, besides that well done!
Great adventure game with disturbing approach to the story. Nice audio transitions from disturbing vibe to everyday vibe. Visuals were also quite appealing. Sometimes when I get stuck I tried jumping, thinking it's the answer.
[SPOILER]
Had to kill the cat: 0/10!
But in all honesty:
An interesting experience and in a format we don't often get to play, so big kudos for that!
I have to admit I didn't really get it and progression was mostly quite cryptic to me so I mostly clicked on everything until it worked.
Still glad I played it, worth every second of it!
As a side note:
I had a lot of issues with text being covered up by other objects which made it even harder to follow from time to time.
Sometimes progression is very clear, like when you have to water the plant for instance. Sometimes we wanted the player to search and struggle a bit. Discovering easter eggs can be very fun this way we think.
The bugs you mentioned have been fixed and will be live when the jam is over (no changes during the voting ofcourse :])
