You guys created a good atmosphere for a horror game, I liked it.
You did a nice work with the art and audio.

How does you game fit the theme?
You try to find the exit through multiple maze levels where it is hinted that there is something else present with the player.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Code and art were made by me and my friend and the audio is from epidemicsounds.
Great atmosphere in this. Navigating was a bit difficult with so little light; I felt quite lost a couple of times, though I did eventually find the end. Adding some more interactive elements would be nice (e.g., maybe some lights that you can turn on to guide you, or maybe some clues as to the backstory of the maze). I like the pixel art. Nice work!
You did a really good job of creating a creepy tense atmosphere with a top down pixel art game, I feel like it’s hard to do that. I like how things kind of ramped up with blood spatters and then finally eyes peeking out of the wall. I do wish that there was a gameplay element to the creature rather than just a jump scare at the end, but I get that time is a thing and it looks like you put a lot of effort into the art. Great job overall. Please check out my game in the link below if you’re interested.
Bro I loved the audio and the tension! Every time the game lagged out I thought the monster spawned or something, Pretty cool, though sometimes I felt like I got lost in the maze.
First I felt alone, but after I heard these noises and found more and more blood and eyes staring at me I wish I would be alone!
