How does you game fit the theme?
You play as a technician aboard a deep sea submarine.

I'm too stupid to solve this.
You're not alone! I had to look up how to solve 'Lights Out' puzzles to debug the image decoder...
The vibe is great, very atmospheric, and the puzzles are a good level of difficulty. Reminds me of Iron Lung, which is never a bad game to be reminded of. Could've used a bit more tension overall with more threat and horror elements, but overall I enjoyed it a lot.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed it!
Really like the puzzles (even though I struggled a lot with the decoder). The enjoyed a lot the oscilloscope but the buttons would turn oddly (maybe it is only in the browser).
Really great, well done!
Thanks for the feedback!
Pretty neat concept! I love seeing sonar games, the puzzles and art were pretty fun, overall great job!
I’d appriciate it if you could check out ours too!
Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely check yours out too!
I was wondering if the puzzle in my game was too hard, then I played your game and saw the decoder puzzle. And yes, I lost a bit of my sanity trying to solve it, but the game in general is so original, I loved the concept and the graphics
Thanks! The image decoder puzzle can definitely tricky, I wonder if I should put together a walkthrough.
Mh, maybe you can add a command which suggests the next move to the player. And to avoid abusing this, the player may have limited uses of it. This could be a solution, but I'm not a programmer, so I don't actually know how hard implementing this would be. It's basically an AI who can solve the puzzle on its own but has limited moves.
It is very creative and sticks to the theme really good!
Thanks!
Interesting game, I really liked your idea, thought the art and audio was done very well. The puzzles were challenging and the reaction game was a nice touch I think. I had a bit of an issue with the red/green line puzzle, found a combination that almost looked right but was off by a few pixels and the decoding puzzle I wasn't a real fan of
Overall love the art and audio a ton, think maybe it would've been a good idea to have some extra sounds like more creature-like sounds the further you get into the game? Really cool idea tho
Thanks for your feedback!
I also grew to dislike the image decoder puzzle, no shame in using Google to work out how to solve that one.
The oscilloscope puzzle definitely has some awkward, almost-complete, combinations too. Hints will appear after an amount of time (almost-correct numbers are highlighted as yellow), but they're fairly subtle.
Ah yeah I had noticed the yellow numbers after a bit, I figured it was a hint of some sort, that was definitely my favourite puzzle, reminded me a lot of the puzzles you would have in The Room series
Good game! Puzzles are hurd, but interesting!
Thanks for your feedback!
It looks great but the puzzels are a bit annoying. The radder however created some tension and even though I later discovered that I had all the time in the world, I had the feeling it needed to be done quick and precise.
Thanks for your feedback! That feeling of precision and speed was definitely the aim. I'm wondering now if there should be a global timer (i.e. complete all puzzles in 20 minutes), because you can definitely sit back and relax on the sonar puzzle.
Global timer is a great idea. That would keep the tension during the whole play through.
