How does you game fit the theme?
Best friend power duo.
You're on the ground running away from the zombies. While your best friend Steve is on the rafters throwing explosive barrels to kill the zombies.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code. I got the 3D models, UI sprites and SFX from Kennyl's website / itchio. The background music was made from my friend Legacynical.

The design in this game was really cool- I liked the assets and the aesthetics.
I felt the controls were a little clunky and hard to connect to- it was a bit unclear and difficult finding out who the different characters were and how to engage the enemy and environment.
I think it would help to spend a little more time on making the controls more fluid and intuitive, as well as sound or animation cues for actions.
I would really appreciate if you would help rank my game. I'm almost at 20 but I need a few more- thanks!
I tried the game. Honestly, I don't know if I understood how to play it. Keep it up!
I don't get the game at all. Even when I look at the controls, I don't know how to attack and even less what I'm supposed to do.
Well, the only good thing about this game is t-posing models.
The game's concept appeals to me, but at the moment it feels a little empty because the ground character can just move around. Although the more static grid-based movement is intriguing, it was easy to get turned around. If the camera wasn't in first person, perhaps this might be resolved? cool game overall! If you would like to can you please check out my game? You dont have to but It would help me alot :)
kinda hard for me with the control but overall it is a cool game.
i love this idea of the best friend power duo - i imagine doing this as a two player game would be really fun too, hahaha :) i did have some trouble with the controls, but that's totally understandable :)
Unique game idea. I could figure it out, and dropped some bombs on zombies. Although i have to say it could use some visual feedback to the player to make it satisfying
I like the music. The playstyle was definitely experimental but I thought it was a cool concept. I couldn't really figure out what to do or what the objective was because I kept getting turned around, would panic and run from the zombs.
I like the idea of the game but it seems a little bare right now since the ground character has little to do other than move around. The more static grid-based movement is interesting, but it was easy to lose your way as you turned. Maybe this would be fixed if the camera wasn't first person?
Quite interesting concept, took me a while to get used to how it works, but has a lot of potential!
Thanks for playing my game! I will go work on making the game feel more intuitive and the controls more natural
I really like the idea and concept of the game.
but the execution is a bit fidgety.
It's hard to tell who is where and what's going on. And having to scroll down to see a table of keys to find what you need isn't ideal
with some polish and overall game feel it would be really fun.
maybe even a multiplayer game.
Good job!
Thank you for your feedback. At the beginning I could add a quick tutorial segement that'll tell you to push this button in order to do this thing. As well as in game menu that displays what each button does.
For the multiplayer I also thought that this game would be a whole lot better if it was multiplayer or splitscreen. That would be something I'd be interested in doing in the future.
Only if there were some polishing and some indicators to show where to go, it would be a pretty damn cool submission. I love the core mechanic.
Thank you for playing my game! There were many more things I wanted to add and do but unfortunately I ran out of time. One of them was giving better player feedback to where the man on ground is and where the barel will drop & explodes. Those are one of the first few things I will add when I update this.
