Really cool concept, though the game wasn't explained super well. Once I figured it out though it was fun! One thing I would change is manually setting the first playthrough's debuffs to ease the player in - loading up the game and starting with colourblind, warped screen and vingette all at once made it really hard to figure out what was happening and how to play.

It's an interesting concept. For some reason, I am guessing resolution issue I wasn't able to see the whole screen, just like an oval. So I didn't see most of the HUD. I like the uniqueness of the game, however I did started making me dizzy after a few minutes of gameplay. Cheers!
Thanks for testing the game ! The vignette that hid a part of your screen was a debuff on the player. It’s when he’s sighted. I made it look better in the next update thought.
Neat game! Sound design was nice. I liked the paintings of the tree from terraria, and the bullet dude from gungeon! I thought the post processing effects were cool, although slightly overblown... The combat also felt clunky. I felt like the sword range was too short. Overall, nice game!

There was only a Windows build but I was able to play on Linux using wine! The art was good, but the effects were kind of over the top though.

I love the art and how the background is rolling while jumping. You could add some hurt effects so that the player knows when he hits and get damage.

Maybe add a few new features, like a type of enemy that's completely different than the others (e.g. an agressive enemy that directly moves towards the player when in a particular range) or more unique weapons for the player. Also, good particle-systems can really help to make things like attacking or taking damage more interesting.

Hey, thanks for your feedback. When there is a pink slime close to another slime, it will heal it (that's its function, but it cannot damage you.) I'll try to make it more clear !

i forgot to say something, sometimes when i play the game it turns into black and its shades so actually it doesn't show if the slime is pink or not
Yes that's when you're colorblind ! I added a screen to show the player what he's affected by so you're not too confused when the game becomes gray and looks weird haha. I will only be able to put it in the game in 2 weeks tho.
Nice little combat platformer! Liked the music selection and the pixel art. The game was fun, I just don't know why it was black and white and like with fish eye, I couldn't see my health or timer, but photos of the game showed it in color, so I don't know what happened.
When you start the game, debuffs are applied to your character. In that case, you were sighted, colorblind and myopic. Every "eye" debuff combined haha. In the future update, there will be a screen showing your debuffs so you can understand easily why your vision is like that.

I like the music and the respawn. The changing character randomly when the player dies gives the feeling of a new life. Although I found a bug, sometimes some slimes don't damage me and instead of them pushing me around, they just bump into me though it's funny when that happens.
The debuffs are exaggerated. You should it a bit

Slimes have weird gravity, so I saw a flying slime haha. Although there's little bugs, nice game! I like your art style. I think it will be a better game if you keep developing this.

I like the art and music! Nice work. I think it would benefit a lot by having the enemies be knocked back when you land a hit - then you wouldn't need to chase behind them to kill them =D

You should pay more attention to the confusing bulge effect.In the gameplay, you need to balance the HP of enemies and the damage inflicted on the character.Good luck to you!

Plays very smooth, but those slimes are pushing you, like they dont have to =) Overall I love how polished this game looks, but fighting enemies could be a little boring. Good job! =)

Cool game, had a lot going for it. was a lot of fun exploring the map finding items and even a new weapon. there was even reference to the bullet enemy from enter the gungeon. sadly there was not that much to do. but you know it's a game jam, all games are short, also background music was great.

You have a very interesting interpretation of the theme! It was a little hard to see things on my first run through, not going to lie you went a tad overboard with the post-processing lol (Pesky de-buff). But it's a solid entry, great job!

Your goal is to have the most points possible with a limited amount of time and debuffs. Saldy i know there is a bug with slimes but i can't fix it because of the jam. Did you like the game thought ?
For me it was quite pointless. I just need to kill slimes? If you create games you should or give a player high purpose, or make process itself satissfying, and for it wasnt. Try for example give a little more dynamic to game, make an andanced AI for enemies and more complicated weapon, such as ranged weapon or something. Also you could use age for gameplay, for example with age player becomes slower and weaker, but has more weapons.
