How does your game fit the theme?
When you faint, the dungeon possess the character. The next character that goes in will have to deal with that. An end is a new beginning, as a puppet of the dungeon

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code from scratch, assets are partially self-made and others are free to use from others.

The game is good, i like the progression, it was hard to know that i was getting stronger until like room 4 when i noticed my attacks  were faster. the game overall was good but it needed more Juice, attacking the enemies was boring because you couldn't see any impact nothing was reacting to my attacks so that made it underwhelming to fight the enemies. overall though very nice game

That music slaps!

One of the best jam's games I played so far tbh. Gameplay is good balanced and really satisfies.

My only complaint is that it's not in fullscreen. And my second only complaint is that there's not enough game feel if you know I mean. Enemies could turn red for like 0.1 second after taking damage and spawn particles after dying

Developer

Yep, I should have enabled a fullscreen option. I did allow for fullscreen shortcut to work in the build, but that wasn't communicated to the player at all. This was due to my bad experience with scaling UI menu with different resolution, that's why I enforce 16:9 ratio for consistency and avoiding bugs.

And yes, hitting things would be more noticeable if I had time to add a hurt visual cue. Sadly, time didn't permit that so I had to settle with just SFX.

Neat game!   Took a second to realize I was always fainting.  Fun to slay the baddies!  Personal feedback would be to have a little more juice, some feedback when you are hit or when an enemy is hit.  Also found I was missing a lot when I was shooting, maybe a mouse cursor target graphic would have gone a long way.  Also possibly having you spawn in the room you died as opposed to having to click through all of the rooms you cleared.  Overall great job and great take on the theme!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, I'll definitely fix those issues later on if I have the time xD

I should have read the game’s description lol Didn’t really understand anything at the beginning, but I managed to clear it on easy difficulty in under 300 seconds (and 12 deaths lol) It was almost impossible to kill the room 7 wizard (myself) since i got so many powerups but I did it. Nice game! I would love to see more of this! :D
