Alright, there is one now. I didn't test it, but there shouldn't be anything that can cause an error.

Alright, now it's fixed. Thanks for reminding me!

i forgot to delete that one lol

Thanks for the good words! The theme was included in a rather subtle way so it was easy to overlook: you can change equipment in battles and the game is balanced to reward for it

I didn't really play games of other participants and at one point was like "Yo I don't even contribute to the jam so why should I keep the submission". It was a pretty impulsive decision and I didn't think much before deleting the thing, but I have no regrets.

I removed it

Glad to hear that!

There is nothing special about that vase. No one should even bother to check it. Don't bother to check it. Don't check it. It's just a vase. Nothing special.

Pile of meat having mental breakdown is a great way to describe this kind of music. I'm also glad you find Cruel Angel your favorite, it's my fav too tbh

First of all, I respect usage of trial version. Second of all, I respect the creativity of this soundtrack. Third of all, somewhy it makes me feel comfortable. Like I'm in the place where I perfectly fit in, even if it is rotten in all its parts and even if there's literally nothing good happening. It also reminds me of OFF. A bit creepy, somewhat groovy, very surreal, with cool sound design and rhythmical decisions. I especially like the murky and grim yet bangin' vibe of "God Home, Everyone Is Welcome", the dissonance of "Melody For My Soul", the mind-crumblingness of "Worms In My Body". The only thing I don't like is the fact I could cry to "Kiss For Goodbye".

Overall this is one of my favorite submissions to this jam, along with "Hourglass of Twilight" and "COUNTDOWN SHOWDOWN".

Feels like a fall into abyss of despair with no way of saving. Multiple instruments play desperation-filled melodies, while drums and percussion keep doing the same over and over, creating a feeling that this actually is abyss that no one can leave. Very nice, but gets a bit repetitive in my opinion.

Old man is a vibe. It has great contrast between overlapping drums and lonely, tired melody. I can see myself exploding from controversial feelings while listening to it.

Great sound design, great arrangement, great dynamics

Very cool stuff. I personally liked calm tracks more than the energetic ones (my favorite one is Time Is Money Is Power though, it has a great name and is a banger overall, I wish it lasted longer), but they are all very well-made. All tracks have a strong and memorable character, they definitely would work great in a fast paced-retro platformer.

Descent of a man-made god is such a dope name, I feel like the world is doomed just by reading it.

I like how the first one changes styles yet stays consistent and coherent, I don't like how the second one creeps the hell out of me and I am in love with how bangin' and slappin' the third one is.

This one really sent me to another dimension with its ethereal beauty. I love how the order has a role and actually impacts the feelings. The concept described seems very interesting and the soundtrack fits amazingly, I think it could become a great game!

I'm ascending from how good this sounds. It's like a comfortable chaos where you have no idea what is happening but enjoy how it is happening.

Very good sounds design and mixing, Oops you Woke the Machines got me headbanging

Very groovy, very sound design-y, very interesting. My personal favorite is Alarm Clock Type Beat.

Also the names of the tracks are very cool.

Very good stuff. I love how Synthetic Ascent feels and sounds, it is hopeful and powerful yet somewhat desperate and sad, definitely the vibe for the kind of story described.

It feels like a kind comedy where instead of bursting into laugh and dying from it you sit with kind smile and enjoy how the things go.

Also I finally found some music to 112% Hollow Knight to.

I love 35:79 AM and 66:66 PM for banger rhythms and very surreal overall feeling. Also Timespace is very beautiful, if it started when I was playing a game I would stop for some time and pay all my attention to the music.

Very beautiful, actually added Ascending The Twilight Spire and The Endless Marching Of Time to my playlist. The last one feels like a Terraria Calamity Mod soundtrack. It's epic, charming and slapping.

These rhythms wash me away. Banger soundtrack.

If Are we Dune or The Run out Session started playing while I was platforming, I'd either get my skill ten times increased or pause the game and jam to the music. However, that snare placement in The Run out Session was really weird and I think it made the song much worse than it could be.

Feels like the song to play when a person tries to do something with all their might and will yet fails. Really good, would like get killed by a boss hundred times to this.

I don't know how to comment music like that, but Dreams and Memories made me think about the moment when old I die in total loneliness and regret.

From what I know about 8 bit music, this is very solid. It got layers to delve into while listening, it got certain catchiness, it got v i b e.

also i want metal cover of fire temple

Very nice. Prelude is simple yet charming, Lost Time is a banger with some cool rhythmical decisions. My only complaint is that the distortion thing and the crashes in the boss fight track are too loud.

Pretty nice! The gameplay was challenging enough to be fun and not to be annoying (except sometimes controls didn't feel precise enough). I was surprised that pressing R actually made the level restart despite the game not teaching that.

Also SFXs are decent and music is a bop.

Thanks for feedback, I rated your game

I like the special object implementation! Also it was unexpected when in the middle of the game it suddenly became drama that actually forced me to think about it and what would I do in that situation

This game feels so great! Trying to dodge enemies while trying to dodge trees while trying to dodge walls while trying to shoot precisely and not spend all ammo while trying to take pickups is just so fun. Also graphics are very good and music slaps

I think this game would be a lot better if it wasn't a rage game kind of thing

Kinda lacks a score counter

The error was in the Poe's house where I tried to open world map via inventory

The game failed to load the map image so I couldn't proceed. Otherwise, very cool

I love how sarcastic is this doctor about him being in trouble

Very nice game! I really liked the atmosphere and the way the story was revealing itself. Because of how short the game is and how much lore it seems to have, I felt like an ant that's trying to understand the sky while sitting inside its anthill and looking through a little hole. It was a bit overwhelming, but worked greatly for immersion. Also the voice acting was cool.
