eriously the game was really fun to play, good looking and interesting graphics! And handdrawn too!
Okay interesting. I will revisit enemy health and look to add more feedback to successful hits. I think the issue you point out is made worse by the fact there’s almost no feedback for successful hitting enemies.

The gameplay is fairly smooth, but I think if the bullets are going to be inaccurate, try making them fly faster to help the play aim better. The game had a very nice vibe and I liked the visual representation of how many bullets you had. Good work!
I really liked the setting. I also liked that the player's bullets aren't very precise, and I appreciated the visual feedback showing how many bullets the player still has. It took me a little while to figure out what my health bar was. I think the enemies could start shooting when the player is a bit closer and stop shooting when the player moves further away. I felt that the enemies shoot a lot and from a very long distance. Overall, I found it very fun. Congratulations!
The game looks good. I love the reload UI. It's a very tough game. I would suggest making it a bit easier at the beginning. I wish I could make the game fullscreen. Great work! :)

Just for the enemies. I like the sheriff badges for lives. Though some kind of over the top effect when getting hit would be great
I thought the design of the level itself was engaging. With how you have to wait for your gun to reload it feels very intentional to have have cover everywhere that you can hide from enemy fire while you're left vulnerable. It's impressive how you combined a twin stick shooter and cover shooter in such an intuitive way.
wish it had some music but other than that it was pretty cool! didnt beat it because im bad but i liked how even if unintentionally the game encourages you to strategically wipe out enemies instead of going "guns blazing" against 5 at once but when a bullet hits an enemy you didnt see it usually escalates from there. fun gameplay wish there was a bit more and that the first level was a bit less difficult but i could definitely see this making a profit as like a finished game for 5 bucks on steam!
