Good aesthetic. Good music.
Too easy and short imo.
Would like a button to fill machines instead of adding 1 at a time.

Bugs

.Mouse input is floaty and glitches when looking all the way up or down
.Can't fly over machines. Makes collecting resources less satisfying
.End screen flashes for a moment when it first appears

Okay interesting. I will revisit enemy health and look to add more feedback to successful hits. I think the issue you point out is made worse by the fact there’s almost no feedback for successful hitting enemies.

Was performance an issue for other games with WINE?

Thank you for the honest feedback!

Really solid. The levels are a little drawn out, and it kinda sucks to lose all your power when you go to a new level. Maybe a permanent upgrade when you kill a boss to incentivize finishing the levels.

Love it. It feels like you took the time to thoroughly playtest it. Pretty difficult but fair. The movement and projectiles are tuned so you can dodge on the fly, but enemies are distinct which allow you to anticipate their patterns.

Excellent presentation. Really hard tho. Maybe projectile speed could be slower?

for enemies or player? Both?

Really solid all around. I love the progression and atmosphere.

A few points of feedback:
-The players hitbox felt too punishing. It was very hard to slip between bullets on the shotgun/circle patterns.
-Some visual distinction between enemies with different patterns would let the player anticipate their moves.
-Enemy bullets were sometimes hard to see. Someone else mentioned they were a little small, but they're also a similar color to the level.

I don't think you are allowed to update it during the jam but here is a video of the bug I'm experiencing. I'm not sure if you can tell but each time the character moves I am just barely tapping the w,a,s, or d key.

This feels like a really solid base to build from. The game was much more fun with the attack spd or dmg items, otherwise the enemies felt a little bullet spongey. The art is very cute, I especially liked the snail sensei.

I was also a little confused about the item downsides. When do they trigger?

Awesome. Gets a bit repetitive after a few runs, but the shooting is very satisfying. Are there only 8 directions you can move? Movement on controller felt strange.

The visual and sound design is great. There's good feedback. The player speed and bullet spawning make it too difficult for me.

I really like the feedback. Shooting and killing feels good, but I can't get very far. Just tapping the movement keys sends the character flying across the screen :(

I think this was a pretty excellent entry.

The trail puts a unique spin on the bullet hell gameplay, favoring patience and planning more than reaction time. A simple but effective take on the theme.

Very cute and cohesive aesthetic. Fun cutscene and catchy tune.

I think a 'next' button on the cutscene slides would be nice. They stuck around a little long. And I'd be great to see the scoreboard at the main menu.

I forgot to mention sound design.. Great Job all around!

Very cohesive aesthetic.

Killing enemies could be a little more responsive and snappy. They freeze in place and block your bullets for a moment.

Great enemy variety.

I think the game is a lot more fun on lower ingot levels.

I visuals are great! There was a bug for me where I would die while in the shop. It's also not always clear if I should use mouse or keyboard in menus.

The buffs are an interesting twist, I just wish I could see on the screen which buffs I had active. Also I think the monsters have too much health.

The main menu is great.
Popup windows is an interesting idea, but I'm not sure if it serves the gameplay.
The game was very difficult for me. The attack is very close range, but the speed of the character makes it very hard to weave between projectiles to get close enough to enemies. I killed a few enemies but always took damage. never found an additional item. I think giving the player a ranged attack would greatly improve the gameplay.

Thank you so much for taking the time to play and share your feedback :D.

Had me laughing out loud. Nice!
