Very cute game! I love the shopkeeper's design, and combining bullet hell with survivor-like gameplay works really well.

That said, I found a bug that made the game extremely easy. Holding the fire key and an equipment slot key at the same time causes you to shoot every frame.

I liked it a lot, everything seems very good to me. I played about 6 rounds and could only get the rifle and the m4 to buy. I will continue to be curious to know what the hand of God does. Very good game!

Cool art style, but I seem to have a bug that's preventing me from shooting? Seems like left click is shoot from the web version, but it doesn't do anything.  Wonder if the problem is just me since I seem to be the only one with this issue

Sorry about that! We messed up a little but with the lack of a tutorial. The '1',  '2,'  '3' keys  allows you to select your weapon from your inventory slots at the bottom of the screen! I hope you get to try again!

Woo! I got it working! Super cute game

Does the game get harder each time you kill the boss?

The game is addictive, I have really enjoyed it and spent quite some time on it. Navigating through so many enemies that it makes my pc lag a bit is super fun and the boss fight is cool.

That's a pretty cool game, thanks for sharing.

Developer

Wow! I didn't even consider increasing the difficulty of the game after killing the boss! Originally expanding to new worlds and levels was our idea of increasing the difficulty, but for the jam, I really like your idea.

Thanks, yet I really hoped your answer would be that it does not because then my play through the game was totally hilarious. I killed the boss twice without ever dying, wondering what the store what for if you got back to the store only after completing the game, then only after dying once to the boss I realised (ok, I suspected it but anyway) that you keep your money so the shop made sense, but then I got killed twice more by the boss and started to wonder if it got stronger but with a deep conviction that it was not the boss which got stronger but myself which got weaker which is exactly what happened.

SPOOOOOORE! I played this way longer then what I should have! When the market window popped up I was like YEAH BABY! Thank you for sharing!

Interesting game! I need to say that some enemies blended too much into background for me, but other than that cool project!

I'm a battle spore! Nice amount of weapon types and character cosmetics. Enemies and their attack patterns are well designed. Would have liked cheaper shop prices to try out more items during jam time, but it's fine.

Art is really cool but there is one issue for me: the character's projectile don't fit well with the overall art style.

Another thing I noticed is that the boss is too tanky, I've found the fight to be too repetitive because it was too long.

Enemies don't stand out from the background, probably for the chosen color or because the background is too noisy.

That being said, I love the mc and the shopkeeper design, he sells so much stuffs! Enemies are cool. The gameplay loop is solid.

Great job!

Developer

Shop prices are definitely too high! The other weapons fit way better into the aesthetic and deal more damage which helps speed the boss fight up! This is some awesome feedback, thank you!

I am from Poland and "sporo" there means "A lot" -> and that's worlds of good things i can say about this game.

- Really love this simple art and combat mushroom player.

- Lot of items to buy for 10 days jam.

- Very nice music and sfx very suitable for this game

- "sporo" enemies :D

- the long hat character was very nice design!

As for modest feedback, I think that after purchasing a weapon that we already have in our inventory, it is a good idea to highlight it at the dealer's? Such a little life-quality after all. :D

Very well done buddy!

Nice art and sound. Save and load mechanic is completely a show, well done. But I had a hard time figuring out how to play.

Sweet game! The aesthetic and design are fun. The beginning waves start out a little slow but overall I like it! Looking forward to seeing more of it!

Fun game, keen to see more of the progression!

Loved this game. If I had to push myself give one complaint (because I always try to) I would say that the bats could stick out a little more from the background, but that's quite the petty thing to say. Great game submission! Good job!
