Good game idea but please fix the shooting, one time my mouse was on an enemy and my player missed 8 times in a row, also sometimes it randomly crashes <3

I completed all the levels.

The game is fun, the explosion sound feedback is very satisfying, the game controls well, I like playing using a good mix of playing right and bruteforcing through bullets which was fun to do in this game and while I beat the boss the first time the third level took me several tries so I got my dose of challenge too.

The game lagged just a bit and I kept my time pressing the Menu button instead of Retry when dying but these are minor issues.

That's a cool entry, thanks for sharin.

This was really cool, I saw some people say it was laggy, but it wasn't laggy at all. Unreal Engine is usually a bit for higher end GPUs and CPUs but I could tell no crazy lighting or materials were used. The game was very forgiving in terms of damage atleast in the first level which was great because it gave me a chance to figure out what I was doing. Cool concepts and I liked the patterns you incorporated on the enemies. I was able to get around some of them because the bullet distance was limited. Overall, really cool implementation using unreal. Great work!

Thank you for playing! I glad you liked it

The game is nice! The atmosphere is eerie but idk if that was what you were going for. I feel like the bullets that some of the enemies spawned where too "thick" so instead of threading through them  (like I usually do) I had to do the challenging task of walking around them instead (oh no!). Good game :)

Developer

I guess it wasn't really implied but the dash actually gives you a short time of invincibility so you can dash through the bullets. thanks for playing though!

Laggy. Cannot play. Would be better made in unity where it's not 600 mb and/or ripping threads. Good game tho.

Developer

sorry, I did spend a long time trying to reduce lag. Unfortunately unreal is known for large file sizes and I didn’t do the best job at keeping it as small as possible. I’m glad you think it’s good though

if you stand right infront of the boss he cant hit you ;)

I generally enjoyed the game from start to finish. The pick-ups were a great addition. My only nitpick was the boss battle felt kind of impossible to beat without any indication of how I was doing against the boss  (basically he has no health bar showing the progress), besides that the game also runs incredibly well so good job!

Developer

thank you so much for the feedback. After seeing some friends play it they too had the same comment about the boss. Unfortunately it was too late by then but thank you so much for taking to time the play it!

600MB? Thats the next skyrim right here. And given that you are mostly using basic shape, i do wonder where it all comes from?

But it does look and plays great! which is the most important part

Developer

thanks  for playing it!
