Made it to the sleeping dude. I really liked the art style! Great job with everything. If I had to give one criticism, I would say to not spawn bullets in the middle of the room or where the player could be standing. it should be clear when a bullet is going to spawn when you are standing

The greed fight was a bit hard to look at with the bright yellow and light blue. I think a little feedback that you are actually damaging the boss would be great. I also somehow killed Wrath after I died which was a bit weird. A few other people have said it, but I think background music would've helped a lot with the repetitive bullet sound and otherwise eerie silence.


With that out of the way, the Visuals were amazing, I love the idea of using the bosses names in attacks. The moving Sloth at the end made the fight much more dynamic and interesting (Ironic how it is the sloth boss that is moving). You did a great job with audio for your first time and overall nice submission

Fun game!

I was just not sure if my bullets and doing anything, because for the first 50 hits there seems to be no feedback what so ever. And i feel that the character should stop instantly when releasing the key, instead of decelerating. But overall, really good game. I think it has a lot of potential, with a bit of polish

Nice concept to fit the theme and good creativity on the patterns. 

If I can give you an advice, when you have a very repetitive sound (like the character's bullets in our case) it gets annoying really quickly. I suggest to muffle the sound so it's more pleasing to the ears. 

Anyway you did 7 thematic bosses in the given amount of time, which is impressive. Great job!

I really liked the game and played it till the end. I loved how each boss has a unique move set, and I enjoyed the final one which moved around a bit making it a bit of a challenge.

I liked it very much. Cool game style, very enjoyable, the bosses are really nicely done visually and their patterns are also very interesting.

I missed some music, but if we add something decent from yt to the SFX, it's great! (Probably no time for music?)

I'm a sucker for the 7 Sins theming and I loved it!The movement I felt needed to be more snappy as bullet dodging is a very precise game style.The patterns were very creative and beautiful to look at!There could have been more things to aim at so the mouse wasn't always in the same spot. Sloth was very nice to see changing position as it added more engagement. Even though it was your first time adding audio I thought it sounded perfect for the style!

Had a great time playing! Very Creative!

Thank you for the feedback, i know the movement is not that snappy, i will probably fix it after the jam. A few people said sloth was good because of the tp so i might add some more movement to the others so its not that static.

I completed the game. The audio is rudimentary but it's not bad, the shooting sound and the sound when you get hit both feel right and I think this second one goes a long way in making the game feel better.

Overall I loved the game, this is the kind of game why we're here and I like all the things as bullets. Sloth is hilarious, it makes me change my judgement of the theme implementation from meh it's just narrative to hey it's cool.

Movement did not feel perfectly smooth, and reading your comment below it indeed wasn't. Also I wonder if this game could not have been a tiny bit harder actually, I never died so I don't know if you restart at the current boss or at the very beginning in which case it's fine.

Originally it was harder and you restarted at the start but a few of my friends said it was too hard so i made it easier and you respawn at the current boss.

Really like the theme, though i am not sure if its intentional but there is a delay between releasing a movement key and when the character stops moving which doesnt feel natural, other comment expressed my other thoughts so im not gonna repeat them,

also very fitting for us devs that sloth is the final boss.

The delay is probably because i forgor to lock the fps to 60 and the delta time shit

Very Very cool game, looking forward for future updates, here is my feedback:
-I really like the effort that was put in this game with many bosses, environments, and attack variations for each boss, it is truly amazing.
-The Art Style was also very neat!
-Side Note: I also loved that the last boss can change his location.
-Pointless Note: the first boss starts 1hp damaged but when the player hits, the boss gets to full health again, it doesn't really make any difference but it is just something i noticed.
-I also liked the SFX of the shooting and the small variation but one thing i believe would make the game better would be a background music, as hearing the sound effect non-stop for a couple of minutes was a bit displeasing so a background music would ease it I believe.
-I would also recommend a sfx for the boss to indicate damage, as it was a bit hard to follow how many hearts left for the boss and concurrently avoid bullets.
-I Think it would also be nice to include a pause menu and a method to exit from the game, I managed to pause the game using PrtScn but a pause menu would be preferable.
-I don't know why, but after finishing the game, when I tried to replay the game, it started back at the last boss.

thank you for the feedback, i tried to make music but i joined the jam 5 days late so didnt really have time and the reason you start at the last boss is because of the save file if you want to replay it just go into the save folder open the boss txt and set it to 0. anyways thank you for playing <3
