Cool Idea fun to play
Nice idea! I think that this concept can be extended to a full game!
Thanks! I liked your game too! I liked the light casting effect, it looked super clean and added a lot of intensity to the game that I wasn't expecting. I enjoyed how you could see the eyes of the enemies through the dark, that was a nice touch and helped a lot with strategy.
My favorite part of the game was fighting the big ogres. Having to balance between keeping other enemies alive as I slowly chip down the big guy and using them to restore the timer.
Health was never an issue but I felt like that was appropriate. The character is a killing machine, with a 10 second time limit. Running out of time was pretty much game over. The being super powered with a time limit reminds me a lot of Viewtiful Joe.
Movement felt sluggish, however. For a game this short it was never a problem but if this was a much longer game, the movement would definitely take away from the experience.
Definitely see potential with this one.
I thought your game was really fun, I like the flow of gameplay. I think it also fit in nicely with the theme. The art was really nice and fluid. I think the message of remembering the cost of materials when you make something is good too.
fun game, I liked the way the character moves and the enemies way of attacking
great work.
Fun game! I enjoyed the idea of collecting dream points to build stuff, it added a lot of strategy and was a really fun way of interacting with the game world.
Nice job! :) I kinda felt that I was basically ignoring my health and barreling through until I died. I like the timer idea because it really incentivized finding the big golem as soon as possible because he's basically impossible to kill if your timer runs out. That made it a sort of search-and-destroy mission to find him where you're dodging all the arrows on the way.
Thanks! I enjoyed your game too, I liked the laser mechanic and the puzzles that were created from it!
Gameplay is very fun and good mechanic idea but it feels like I'm controlling the sword not the character and you can add more options to attack
Can you play and rate my game too?
Thanks! I'll see about adding more attacks then the normal swing. Thanks for the feedback! I rated your game, I enjoyed it a lot!
I like timerbonuses when killing an enemy. You can see that in our game as well! :D
I finished your game, really cool well intense not bad the 10 second idea. Good job!
Loved the idea and this is a really good potential game sittin' here. But the first levels are a bit too hard, make sure to progress slowly, cos the enemies are pretty fast.
Thanks for the feedback! I ran out of time to do a tutorial (the joy of doing two jams at once), I did have an easier starter level planned but just ran out of time for implementing it.
This was cool, but I am terrible at bullet hells and found it very hard to dodge the attacks from the little guys. I liked the strategic element of leaving smaller enemies alive to keep the damage boost up for boss enemies.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm considering adding in a difficulty option for the post jam version to make the game more accessible.
Pretty nice idea, having a timer on dungeons to clear, but i think you needed to start with easier levels, i couldnt beat the first one becuase all the enemies were running so fast.
but good job anyways!
Thanks for the feedback! I intended to do a tutorial stage with slower enemies and proper control explanations, but as I was doing this for two jams and already had a late start, I ran out of time. I will keep this in mind for future jams though!
Fun game! I like the boosted attack mechanic.
