Glory is indeed mine. So much fun :D I wish there were explanations as to what each upgrade did.

The art is so good! And I love the howling and leveling system. Very fun! I can't believe you did this game alone. Amazing! I do wish he was bit faster or the speed scales up a bit more with good boots, but really hard to complain about this game. Great job!

i love the howling lol nice game, love the art style and overall concept, would love to see how the game evolves if you end up adding to it after the jam ^^

Golden Axe meets Vampire Survivors. Really addicting. Love the yelling.

I think the mechanics fit well and that an extended version of this could be really cool. With the time we had, I can only congratulate you and point out that visually I liked it a lot!

this was great! a few nitpicks: the hitboxes felt a bit inconsistent, the multiplier mechanic felt a bit out of nowhere and descriptions for the upgrades would be nice. the art is very nice and the howl mechanic is very interesting and fun!

my high score was about 95000

The art looks nice, I dig the sense of style here. I like the idea of the building up experience points to get bonuses by exposing yourself to harm with the howl mechanic. I do feel the game ends up being a tad too repetitive for me, but it is understandable in the context of a game jam. An expanded version with more moves and enemies would fix that. All in all, good job!

Pretty good job for a first jam! The visuals were nice and clear and I especially liked the sprites. Maybe the environment could've used a bit more detail or color but not bad either. At first the "raise the sword" mechanic stacking points confused me and seemed like a bug but as more enemies pile on, it can make for a nice risk reward system.

The bit crunch effect seemed a bit too much for me personally, I would tone it down just a tad but it might just be a subjective thing. Still enjoyed the music regardless.

It's a simple game but I don't really have much to complain about. It works just fine and can be decent fun so I'd say it's a job well done. Maybe it could fit the theme a bit more but that's it. I also like the name of the game ^^

It's not my cup of tea game, but I really loved the artwork. You did a great job on the character art and animations! I hope you continue to develop this game.

Thank you! I'm still thinking about what kind of game I want to make next, but I might use the framework from this game in future projects! Sadly, they will most likely be less shouty.

I told you I would reach 1000 points

really fun game I enjoyed it! especially the sound track it reminds me of loop hero, gameplay is solid only remark is it's difficult to tell if you're directly facing the enemy or not, otherwise good game

Thank you! I played the theme on piano and bitcrushed it (like the sound effects), for a quick retro feel. Dealing with depth is the eternal issue of traditional beat'em ups, i tried to make the hitboxes wide & generous, but I guess I still need a bit more. I wanted to avoid making the game too easy too, else you can scale way past the strength of max skeletons (some people have already done it).
