great art nice work

I found the controls quite hard to use, but it was a really well thought out game and I loved the story, really turned out to be quite dark. Welldone.

Very nice game, love the ending and i hope youll release more that type game.

Very decent retro game, I had fun playing it. Some of the jump are quite hard to perform.
I like the art style and your music

Very cool game! Well done! Could you also take a look at my game? Thank you!

Nice game! The art style, the animations and the music are very well implemented! It's funny because sometimes I didn't know if some traps are real or not. Good thing that you added checkpoints! When you have time, please look at mine as well.

It's pretty solid and the checkpoints does reduce frustration XD Love the music and the twist at the end.

The game was really fun and frustating at the same time. A good game design when you swap between lies and truth. The game was kinda innovative (with the end). The link with the theme is kinda obvious but nonetheless good. Graphics were beautiful. Audio was simple but that's sometime all you need ! :)

The only thing to really improve here is the movement/jump which is sometimes a bit sliperry and unprecise :/

I liked this a lot. The feedback in combat was satisfying! The boss fight was a nice touch, too. Overall, a very polished experience.

I found the pixel snapping of the camera to be a bit hard on the eyes, but I can be a wimp with those things sometimes. Also, don't be afraid to give us a little more leeway with the platforming. Some of those jumps are tough!  :P

Nice work!

I like the pixel perfect graphics and animations of the knight. It's also a neat idea that the doors function as checkpoints. However, I'm not a fan of the control scheme. Atleast in my game you could use literally all of the keys ;-). All joking aside, it would be nice if the game supported WASD (movement) and JK (attack and alternative jump). Controller support would also be great.

A couple of the jumps are quite difficult to pull off. Like the one at the beginning were you need to make a couple of jumps to move from the ground floor to a higher level. At the area after that I fell down with the crate (you lied) and glitched into the walls. At first I thought this was intentional, but then the knight died (fall damage maybe). With the enemies I noticed that their dead bodies don't have any gravity, so they can float. I also discovered that the one of the bottom platform can glitch into the wall to the right of him. If you want to fix the glitching into walls, set collision detection to continuous (on the rigidbodies).

During the boss fight it was annoying that there was no health indicator for me or for the boss. I also found the fight to be too difficult. I retried the boss fight quite a few times, so it was a bit frustrating that I had to click through the dialog everytime.

To end, here's one of the difficult jumps I talked about earlier.

Developer

Thanks for the detailed review and for the critique, I will consider this in my next game :)

The game is awesome. I have nothing to complain about. At first, I did not understand where the lie was, but when I got to the last room ...
I don't believe you made this game in a week. It is perfect

Developer

I'm so pleased, thank you.

I have no idea how you have made such beautiful sprites. Overall nice but the weird camera and difficulty  prevent me for giving 5 stars to everything

Submitted

The twist was clever, the sprites and sound design were well done - a well polished game.

Submitted

Rated, animations and sprites looks amazing. Nice work

Cool game! The minimalistic pixel art style is cool and I really like the sound effects, specially the hit and the 'door open' sounds! The only thing I felt a little thing weird about was the camera movement, I played the WebGL version of your game and the camera felt a bit 'jaggy'.

Developer

Yea, I didn't noticed it in the beginning, the camera is kind of snappy because of the pixel snapping in the game.

Really cool. Liked the pixel art!

I liked the boss battle because It's not too difficult if you know how to kill him but you have to learn when he does the white bullets. One of the best games so far!
