Really nice game! Great pixel art, I really like the animations, The shooting is awesome and the movements are good. You should make a webgl version for next time :D The only bad things:

Thanks for finding that bug! Originally we planned on doing a web version, however there was a horrible audio bug we could not reconcile before the deadline that made the audio sound like it was coming out of blown speakers (DAMN YOU HTML5!!) we do plan on releasing a web version at some point. We have updated the game since the jam, and we addressed the difficulty by adding health kits and checkpoints after every door. I Think that will help the difficulty, we also added input mapping so you can change and learn the controls and bumped the starting volume up a bit. Also i don't know if anyone noticed but we also have bullet drop! Because what modern shooter is complete without bullet physics?

That was pretty cool! I like how the game looked! It felt very hard though with enemies dealing a lot of damage quickly, and it would be nice to have a few more bullets :D Nice work!
Pretty neat game, but the difficulty is really high. Personal opinion, I would prefer if the enemies drop more ammo. The graphics and music are amazing though :D
I liked how this played out but I killed very enemy on the first level yet the door did not open for me... I exited to desktop after trying it 3 times but it seems that reading through the comments it only happened to me. Any advice? Ill rate it for now but if I can play through it all it might improve (or worsten for all i know) my opinion of the game and I think it's unfair if the fianl rating comes from someone who hasnt played everything made.
I guess you didn't read the description, while standing inside of the door press F to go to the next level or to activate the terminal
Ah, darn, my bad. Should be described in game though. Ill try it again when I have time but I have a long list of games to test waiting...
Another platformer with no modular jumps and no grace jumps, BUT with precision jumping. I found your combat interesting, because I had to wait for enemies to look the other way to shoot them. Which made the game into a puzzle. I liked that. But then I got to a high platform that looked only barely not reachable, failed the jump a few times, and quit to desktop. A platformer MUST have excellent characterController classes not to be at best mediocre. I wasn't willing to subject myself to bearing with more inevitable upset with missed jumps.
Graphics are coherent and even pleasant, if a tad monochrome with the overuse of grey.
SFX and music were there and functional. Music was a little barebone.
Don't see how the theme is hit.
You don't catch the theme until you beat the game unfortunately... The trick to the part you were stuck at was to go through the room to your right up through it and out to a ledge and jump down between the wires onto the platform you were trying to reach. You were close to the end too, However, there's a trick to beating the boss. It depends on how you handle the enemies. did you use stealth? or did you follow trust the game and "LEAVE NOTHING ALIVE"? Remember, the game is a liar ;) and also there are 2 ways to beat the boss, and for the true ending check the boss room ;) OK, no more hints!
Nice game, musics are great but not enough loud. Pixel art is very efficent and cool, good job ! ( but might be more nervous like an hotline miami ) ["v"]9
I agree! you can turn it up, but it turns down back down if you die! Also don't change it where you start, you will get shot, lol.

Unfortunately I have no way of testing a macOS build. I do plan on doing a update or two after judging, so I will definitely give it a try!( including a linux and web player builds) Thank you for playing the game!

The theme is how the game ends, Unfortunately you would have to beat the game(probably with both endings) to understand how it fits. I do see what you're saying, I should have added more "lying" elements than notifications and the ending. But I wanted a ending that would disrupt the end player.
