I really enjoyed the game! I also liked the Cape when moving.
Rated - I like the trail effect on the player character! Good job submitting to this game jam, I hope you learned a lot. Your next game jam game will be even better! I thought the character could use a bit more gravity, and perhaps zoom the camera out more. Still, great job! PLease check out my game when you can~ you can DL or watch the gameplay vid:

I had to go back to read the comments about the bug with the king.
Too bad. I know all to well the problems with time and stress. Our very first level has a flying dog in it! Should have been the first thing we spotted and fixed, but there wasn't time.

Game needs a lot of polish, but I had some fun playing it ;)
I returned to the king with all the diamonds collected and when i found the princess but sadly noting happened.. Might be a bug..
But i really liked your efforts! the art style was pretty good.. the game could have used some audio though
So I talked to the king and got the sword. Then I got hit or something in the level and lost the sword. Then when I found the princess and went back I think I got stuck since I couldn't kill Mr Illuminati. Unless I missed something, which is very possible.
I jumped into the chicken soup just to see what what would happen :)
If you read the description it said that if you die it doesn't work this is a bug I couldn't quite figure out in time. Sorry that you didn't know. I know that this game definitely isn't the best, but i'm just happy I finished a game, and learned so much!
No worries! I didn't think that I died though. I definitely still had health left. It was the first time I hit a spike. I did have fun playing it and got a few chuckles out of it, which is great for a game jam game. Plus you had a story with a beginning, middle and end which is something to be very proud of also!

I loved the graphics of the game but I honestly couldn't figure out the motive

Hey, nice little game there. I laughed at the chicken broth haha Was a little confused about the sword at the beginning because it seems I couldn't use it? The text disappeared before I could read it. Controls are not too bad! I think the circle was maybe a little too big for the geometry of the level. Congrats on getting a game done for the game :) Keep up the great work!
